Merrimac Resort is located just across from the sugar white sands of Panama City Beach, on the peaceful, eastern end of Thomas Drive. The place was nice and good location and price for what I needed. However the air conditioner was not working in the front of the place . I had to keep the air much higher than I normally like to keep the whole place cool. I ended getting sick because the air was blowing on my face in the bedroom most of the time. Someone did come to look at it which he did call to notify me but didn’t notify me that the issue was not fixed and was coming back. I just came back one afternoon and noticed the front chair was not in correct position then I knew that he was back in the house and fixed it
Overall I was pleased and would stay there again

This was the perfect place for myself and 2 kids (13,9). The location was perfect. Pool is right outside the back door, super easy beach access. We didn't try the sleeper sofa because the couch was so comfortable on its own my son decided just to sleep on it without pulling it out. The only thing I noticed was a lack of dish towels and dish cloths- there was only 1 of each and there was not a pot holder. We would definitely visit again!
