If you are a vacationer that wants it all, Summer's End is the beach house for you! This gorgeous, updated and beachfront home is located in desirable Morgantown. With the beach as your backyard, you'll be able to savor those amazing views even from inside the home. Take advantage of the upgraded polywood deck furniture and enjoy that morning coffee or evening cocktail on the deck. And, since you'll be in Morgantown, you'll have access to two sparkling pools as well as lighted tennis/pickleball courts. And did we mention, this home is pet friendly and so is the beach! Pro Tip: Plan to eat breakfast al fresco on the outdoor dining table and maybe a dolphin or two will join you!
The Space
From the moment you enter the home, you'll be welcomed by a wall of windows and stunning Gulf views. Comfortable seating and updated kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances help to create the perfect home away from home. For some reason, cooking dinner isn't as much of a chore when you have amazing water views.
Downstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a King bed and the other two Twins. These two rooms share a hall bath. Head upstairs and you'll find another King room (a sofa bed is in this room as well) and a Bunk room with two Full over Full bunks. The bunk room is a favorite of the younger set because all the cousins, siblings and best friends can room together. There are loads of options no matter your group size and make-up and Summer's End comfortably sleeps 16 guests.
Hoping to finish a book or two or maybe you just want to catnap to the sound of waves? No worries, this home has a porch bed for the ultimate relaxation experience.
* Renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Fort Morgan and Morgantown
Morgantown is a lovely, unique seaside community featuring two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts and several beach access boardwalks. When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives.
Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.
Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.
Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain, and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.

The home is in a great Gulf front area. It is in a quiet neighborhood near Ft Morgan and several nature trails. It is comfortably furnished. The upstairs master could use a new matress.The house itself has many amneties like pleanty of cookware and kitchen appliances. Plenty of beach supplies in downstairs closet. Soft spot in floor near loveseat.

Loved the large windows in the living/dining rooms. I thought I would enjoy the screened in patio more but it was too cluttered

1st of all. Linda,the property manager was excellent and Costalview Vacation rentals made the process super easy for booking. The view and location was outstanding. The house is in need of A LOT of maintenance repairs that the owner should take care of. We used the dryer and it was so hot in that room and noticed that the dryer vent wasn't even hooked up to blow outside. There is a hole in the ceiling on the downstairs master bedroom closet. There are two soft spots in the floors. One upstairs by the balcony and the other by the loveseat on the lower level. The exhaust fan in the 1st floor didn't work, the lights in the bedroom where the twin beds don't work, cover for the exhaust fan in the upstairs bathroom was wife had a total knee replacement on January and the toilets are super low and it made it difficult for her to get up. The dishwasher lower rack is missing the wheels and makes it difficult to move the rack when it's full.There is A LOT of little things that can be done to make this home beautiful and for the amount that we as customers pay to stay in these houses, you'd think they'd be in better shape. The beach is nice. However, you're only two house's down from beach access and you have to claim your spot very early in FRONT of your rental and then you're still crowded because the beach is a public beach. So, if you have the impression that the beach in front of your house is yours, your wrong. They had even used the shower at the end of the boardwalk. We usually stay in Fort Morgan where the beach behind your house is yours. In my opinion, when you pay this amount of money, the house should be better than your own. We've stayed in many houses in Fort Morgan and spent less for a well decorated and well maintained house. When you go on vacation, you shouldn't see things that need attention as much as this house needs. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need. The plates need to be replaced due to some are cracked and chipped.
