This apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests, with a living area that features a relaxing sofa and a flat screen TV, dining area, and well-equipped kitchen. This apartment has a great balcony ideal to enjoy Barcelona's summer days.
The apartment is 3 minutes from Metro Plaza de Catalunya (Red Line L1 & Green Line L3).
The Space:
Welcome to this 87 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya.
We manage other apartments in the same building, ideal for business groups and big families!
APARTMENT DISTRIBUTION:
The apartment has a capacity for up to 5 people distributed in 2 bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 2: 2 Individual beds
- Living room: sofa bed (a new sofa has been installed)

- Located right by Plaza de Catalunya square - the main city center of Barcelona!
- Aerobus stop to the airport right in front of the apartment, also several metro and train lines
- Sunny balcony with views over an interior patio ☀️

- All bedrooms have AC, heating and storage space.
- 2 Full bathrooms

- Elevator and concierge in the building - step free access!

The Neighborhood:
Dreta de l'Eixample is a neighborhood in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It includes Plaça de Catalunya, the centre of the city, and the upscale streets Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. It is the bourgeois neighborhood of the city, which makes the majority of its population belong to the upper class of Barcelona. Dreta de L'Eixample is one of the most luxurious neighborhoods of Barcelona.
Getting Around:
The closest metro station is Plaça Urquinaona (Lines 1 & 4).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
-Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.
*** CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT ***
Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

The unit has easy access and is right in the heart of things, near La Rambla and Placa de Catalunya. There was enough space for our family to spead out and rest after days of walking and enjoying the city life.

By and large this place worked out GREAT for us! The location was perfect (loved the coffee shop next door) Even though we were in a bustling part of the city it felt safe and the nights were quiet (good for jet lag recovery). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of hot water and it was super convenient having the washer and dryer in the apartment. Things were clean and as expected. The grocery store across the street was a total bonus!I know I'm nitpicking here but I think the apartment could do with a little refresh. The couch was a little stained and uncomfortable, a few more comfy chairs in the living room would be good. Some other furniture just looked a little worn out. I wish we had been given a few more bath towels. The apartment came with one dishwasher tab and one laundry tab which isn't quite enough for a week's stay. Bring you own kitchen staples (salt, pepper, evoo, coffee filter, etc) as there are no leftovers from previous visitors. These are all small things and didn't really detract from our stay - FYI for a future visitor.We did have one little wrinkle which is that the door broke and we couldn't get back in the apartment for several hours. I'm positive that was a fluke problem, but it did take a while to fix. Having said that, the responsiveness of the team (through the vrbo chat) was excellent: polite, eager to solve problems, and apologetic at the inconvenience. I would stay again!!

Facing the back of the building (with a lovely balcony), the apartment is fantastic to explore Barcelona with public transportation and walking.
The host always responded accurately and swiftly to our inquiries.
We love the app used to unlock doors with no risk of losing physical keys.

I have used your services several times, either alone or with friends, and the service is always impeccable. Thank you. However, I would like to share my disappointment regarding the quality of the apartment. I have stayed there before.In the kitchen: the dishwasher is in poor condition, the rack inside is rusty and broken. Some cabinets need finishing repairs. In the bathroom adjacent to the kitchen, the sink was clogged all week, just like the last time I was there. The locks on both bathrooms needed to be changed, which was done during my stay. Thank you. I want to highlight the excellent work of the two men who came. Although they did not speak English, they were very courteous.In the bedroom, the hinges on one of the closets were torn off. In the living room, the floor lamp did not work, the wire was ripped out. There was really a maintenance problem in this unit.
