Beautiful 4 bedroom apartment located in the heart of Barcelona, near plaza Catalunya. The apartment can accommodate up to 6 guests, which makes it the perfect choice for a large family or business groups. The apartment has a huge living area that features a relaxing sofa and a flat screen TV, dining area, and fully-equipped kitchen with all the appliances.



The apartment is 5 minutes from Metro Plaza de Catalunya (Red Line L1 & Green Line L3) and Plaza Urquinaona (Lines 1 & 4).



The Space:

Welcome to this 120 m2 spacious and modern flat located next to the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya. Enjoy the convenience of staying in the center of Barcelona, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and the city's best attractions. Take a short 30-minute walk to admire the beauty of La Sagrada Familia or explore the nearby Parc de la Ciutadella. The luxurious shopping street Passeig the Gracia is also just a 10-minute walk away.



We manage other apartments in the same building, really convenient for big families, groups or business trips.



⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The Neighborhood:

Dreta de l'Eixample is a neighborhood in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It includes Plaça de Catalunya, the centre of the city, and the upscale streets Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. It is the bourgeois neighborhood of the city, which makes the majority of its population belong to the upper class of Barcelona. Dreta de L'Eixample is one of the most luxurious neighborhoods of Barcelona.



Getting Around:

The closest metro station is Plaça Urquinaona (Lines 1 & 4).

The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€



Other Things to Note:

*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***



- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.



- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.



- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation

and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.



*** CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT ***



Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs

Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)



*** HOUSE RULES ***



1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction

2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.

3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).

4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.

5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.

6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.



Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

The condo has an ideal location, not a noisy neighborhood and walking distance to everything. The bedrooms were comfortable but sparse. The size of the condo was very nice but lacking in amenities. There was no coffee or tea pot and very little silverware (2 forks, a few spoons and knives). We struggled with the air conditioner in the hallway, it leaked severely and the property manager did get someone to repair it after a day in a half (understandably since one of the days was a Sunday). However it dripped all night for 2 nights in a large jar we placed under it after soaking through 2 large towels. The washing machine did work appropriately and wobbled all over the outside deck. I think it's a nice location and size but seems like the owners might be new to the VRBO family and need to upgrade the amenities and do a few repairs.
