Located just 1.5 miles from the charming Lakeside town center, the Lazy K Lake House is your perfect getaway to enjoy the beauty of Flathead Lake and its surroundings all year round. This stunning property features a private dock for mooring your own watercraft, along with kayaks, a paddleboat, and a paddleboard for exploring the serene waters. After a day of adventure, unwind in the luxurious eight-person hot tub, whether you've been out on the lake or hitting the ski slopes.
Outdoor Bliss: Relax and soak up the sun on the expansive deck, which offers both covered and uncovered areas. The large grassy lawn and small private beach provide plenty of outdoor spaces to hang out and enjoy the fresh air.
Indoor Entertainment: Stay entertained indoors with a ping pong table, two TVs with Roku, an Xbox, a massage chair, and a variety of puzzles and board games. There's something for everyone to enjoy!
Cooking & Dining: Cooking and dining are a breeze with well-equipped indoor and outdoor kitchens, two on-deck drink coolers, and ample seating both inside and outside. Whether you're preparing a feast or enjoying a casual meal, you'll have everything you need.
Nearby Attractions: You are just a short drive away from Glacier National Park, Kalispell, Glacier International Airport, Bigfork, and Missoula. For our winter visitors, The Lazy K is only 15 miles from Blacktail Ski Area, where guests can enjoy one free day pass per day. Blacktail also offers the free North Shore Nordic Ski Trails area, with over 15 miles of groomed terrain boasting spectacular views of Flathead Lake from above 5,000 feet. Snowshoeing is also available on these trails or various un-groomed trails around the area. With Whitefish Mountain just a 40-mile drive away, you have another fantastic option for skiing, depending on which hill is getting the freshest snow.

Dock details: The dock is shared with the neighboring rental, Lazy K on Peaceful Bay - Ranch House.
There is a dedicated slip for your boat, marked with a sign. The closest launch is 2 miles away at the
Lakeside public launch, located just north of the marina. The Somers Landing has two launches and is
just 6 miles north of Lakeside, and a 15 minute boat ride south to Peaceful Bay. Gas docks are located at
the Lakeside marina, Bigfork, Woods Bay, Big Arm and Polson.

This house is lovely - perfect location close to town and great provided outdoor amenities (paddle boat, kayaks, dock, etc). The house is a bit dated though and was missing blinds in the main toilet room. The neighbor next door is clearly very bothered by guests staying here so just be aware….but otherwise a great place to relax and spend a few days.

We had an amazing time at the Lazy K Lake House. This rental truly has it all and offers the best of what Flathead Lake has to offer. We have been renting houses on Flathead for about 15 years now and this is the best we have experienced. We hope to be back!
Just one heads up: with the lake level not reaching full pool this year (and likely for future years), if you are planning on bringing a boat, you might want to check with property management on whether or not the other slip marked for the other/ranch house is available, as the slip marked for the Lake House is closest to the shore and wasn't deep enough for most boats during our stay. It's possible to park a boat and trailer in the driveway, but it gets a bit tight for other vehicles. And, if you aren't an expert at backing a trailer, I recommend using the Somers public ramp instead of Lakeside's. The Lakeside ramp is right off the highway and has a very short dock, so it's a bit challenging.

This is now the second time we have visited the Lazy K in Peaceful Bay property. We had four couples that joined us for a weekend on the lake and Big Sky Festival. During the day we enjoyed boating, sitting on the dock, yard games, and cooking out on the outdoor patio. At night we loved the ability to use the hot tub and fire pit. It was an added bonus how close the boat launch was in Lakeside. We decided to make this event and property an annual tradition. Already looking forward to next year!
