What a fantastic place to spend a vacation! Our host was most helpful to us as it was our first time in Costa Rica and needed recommendations. All his suggestions were perfect for our group! The home was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well stocked with kitchen tools. We felt spoiled having a housekeeper - she was friendly, professional and kind! We saw many different animals from the back deck like monkeys and birds - such a treat! Quite a steep driveway but totally driveable and gave us a little exercise when we walked it. It was handy to have a laundry machine and dryer and that the little extra house has a bathroom and fridge. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I would like to start off by saying that our host, our maid and the groundskeeper were all amazing. I want to warn anybody who has children or anyone who is elderly or not able to hike up a very, very, very steep hill to not rent this place. The reason I say children also is because the pool is not only small but probably about 5 feet deep through the entire pool. There is no shallow area at all.Because of how steep the driveway is, there were several times that the buses that would pick us up would not go up it so we had to walk down it and walk back up it when we got back… we are 50 Ish years old all of us and let me tell you it was a struggle, even though we are all healthy adults. I can’t imagine if we would’ve brought my mom or any children along for this Vacation.. when we rented this, we were unaware of how far off the road we were… There is no way for you to walk that far to meet up with any regular transportation to get buses or any other thing you have to get an Uber and make sure that they are smaller cars or jeeps or they won’t come up the driveway. The jungle is very very thick around this villa… We did not have any visitors such as monkeys or sloths the entire week. We did see an iguana though. And several birds.I have never made a review like this ever so I feel bad for the owners of this vacation home but I feel like people need to be warned because there is just no way my 70-year-old mother could’ve gotten up or down that driveway.…
