Oceanside house with ocean views - short walk to the beach!

We had a great experience over the week leading up to the 4th of July!!!! The owner was very quick to respond when I had any questions about the property. It was very clean and well stocked with everything that we needed as far as appliances, cookware and utensils. Very clean linen as well as towels enough for the whole family.

The house's size and location were perfect for my group of cyclists. We had a lot of room to spread out and everyone got a bed, even if it was a twin. The outdoor shower came in handy when we came back from a muddy race and the decks were wonderful for seeing the ocean view. The kitchen is mostly well stocked and I was able to cook a large carb loading meal the day before our race. We did find that it's missing the standard sized non stick egg frying pan. Not a big deal, but did make frying up some eggs interesting. As is pretty typical of beach rentals, we had to make our own beds (I sure wish that wasn't the standard). However when it came to showering we found that the house had only been stocked with 4 bath towels. For a house that provides all the linens and towels and sleeps 10, that didn't make any sense to us. Luckily we had brought some extras with us because of the bike race. Only other thing lacking was the toilet paper. But again, that's pretty standard beach rental. It would be a great house rental for folks with kids as there was a second space for the kids to play in and lots of beach toys. All in all, I would recommend the house for a vacation but I would also recommend you come prepared with toilet paper, trash bags, extra towels and a frying pan.
