What this property does, it does well. It is certainly lacking in some areas, none of which are really baseline requirements. For instance, beach towels and beach chairs are not included. Beach chairs can be rented at the beach for 10 a day and they’re pretty old and rickety. Beach towels are 5 to rent. No board games in the house to play on a rainy day, and it’s a rainy area. All these things go a long way to making the stay memorable. Nevertheless, the property was clean and tidy. The patio was nice to sit on and has a ceiling fan and light. The kitchen was fine - I don’t love electric burners, but they got the job done. For a property that isn’t really close to any restaurants except one shopping plaza about 3.5 miles away, I think the kitchen should offer a bit more. Finally, late check out and early check in is available, for a fee. And not a very small one. The neighborhood was fine. Quiet. The beach was great. Clean and not crowded at all. Lots of good golf in the area. This property still deserves five stars because our stay went smoothly and everything was as described. You won’t be disappointed as long as you keep your expectations within the four corners of the listing.
