About this cabin rental
Bring everyone. Alpine Haven, our off-grid mountain home outside Idaho Springs, CO, sleeps 14 across six bedrooms! The private heated indoor pool and game room keep the whole house entertained, the hot tub sits under the stars, and four decks plus the rooftop have year-round views of Mount Blue Sky. Family reunion, multi-family ski trip, friends' getaway, or a quiet week off the grid - there's room to be together, and room to spread out.
THE HOUSE
Over 4,500 sq ft on 4 acres backing national forest, with hundreds of acres of public land right off the deck. The house runs fully off grid on solar with generator backup, so nights are quiet and the stargazing is unbeatable.

LOCATION
12 minutes from downtown Idaho Springs - a historic mining town with great restaurants, breweries, and the Indian Hot Springs. Loveland ski area is about 35 minutes; Keystone, A-Basin, and Winter Park are within an hour; and Denver International Airport is about an hour away - easy for a group arriving on different flights. Summer brings hiking straight into the national forest behind the house and whitewater rafting on Clear Creek. The house's location makes it so you are right between all the best skiing and the city, so you don't have to compromise on doing one or the other!

Kid and dog friendly (up to 3 dogs)
4WD or AWD with snow tires required October through May but we recommend having it year round.
Off-grid solar power - all the normal comforts, just be mindful of energy and water use, especially with a full house
The house is off a decently maintained dirt road. It will always be a bit bumpy but can be better or worse depending on time of year and conditions.

The house was amazing. Really the entire property. Nice and cozy. The pool and hot tub so so nice. And such great communication. Responded quickly to small issues to help resolve. We loved it and would go back. We even woke up to snow!!

Plenty of space for a large group and the pool and hot tub are great! But what really sets this place apart is the view. Incredible! Especially when we went with the leaves changing colors.
