About this cabin rental
During these concerning times, Luna Seas can offer social distancing at it’s finest. No one will meet you upon your arrival, as there is a lock box with a code containing the key. Choose to self isolate on your small piece of West Coast paradise or choose to explore the wild beaches and forests that Sooke and the surrounding areas are known for.
South facing waterfront on a private .5 acre. An unobstructed view of the Juan de Fuca strait and the Olympic mountains. Wild life abounds, with possible daily sightings of orca, seals, sea lions, otters, eagles and many more.
A jetted hot tub to take in the amazing views, the hardest choice is whether to soak with a East, South or West view.
Beautiful world renowned wilderness in close proximity, but only 7 minutes to restaurants, banks, grocery stores etc., and only 30 minutes to big box stores in Langford.
The features of the cabin are, 15' ceilings with many windows to maximize the view. A fully stocked kitchen with bar fridge, microwave, toaster oven, induction hot plate and propane barbecue. All you need to bring is your food.

Stunning view from the house, hot tub and overlook.

We loved the view, it was like being on a cruise ship, only the scenery didn't move, which was exactly what we wanted. The mini-home was very comfortable, and nicely furnished. The bed was soft, but very comfortable, and we both slept really well. The bathroom was larger than expected, and the shower was great, the water pressure was excellent, and the water always hot and plentiful. The only downside, was the toilet, which was very low and took us by surprise, until we got used to it. The "kitchen" area was well stocked, and despite the lack of oven, was functional. There was a BBQ outside, which we didn't use. The chairs in the sitting room were facing the ocean, and we spent many hours watching nature through the floor to ceiling windows. We didn't use the hot tub, but it was nicely located with a great view across the sea. Parking was very easy, but the gravel had been worn away from the edge of the road, leaving a high edge to be navigated when entering and leaving the parking space. We don't recommend the West Coast Grill to eat, but do recommend the Wild Mountain Restaurant. We had a wonderful time, we would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it to other travelers.

It is a great spot for peace and quiet and simply looking out at the ocean...which we did a lot of (with BC wine)! On our first day there, we had a pod of orcas swim right by the property while we were in the hot tub no less! If we had not seen this ourselves, I would not have believed it! Truly amazing. While you shouldn't expect that experience, it happened to us...because we were there!
