‘The Great Escape - Shirley’ is secluded and surrounded by forest. You will have your own Hot Tub. The Coach is a 40' luxury Coach that has an electric fireplace, large slide-out, Corian counters, forced air heating & 1 Gbps WiFi. There is a propane fire pit, BBQ outside, wood fired pit, with lots of wood. It has a Queen ‘Sleep Number’ bed, a sofa bed and sleeps up to 4. We, live on the property in a separate home from the Coach, with a double garage between us and the Coach and your private secluded Hot Tub area. We are but a phone call or short walk away. We are also available by text, email or phone, at nearly anytime.
TGE-S is a short 14 minute drive to downtown Sooke, with many Parks, Beaches and walking paths close by. Shirley Delicious is but a 7 minutes away. Stoked Wood Fired Pizza is an 8 minute drive and French Beach is 9 minutes away. If you want to surf, Jordon River is only 17 minutes away. Everything from grocery stores, restaurants, medical centres and clinics, drug stores, and a multitude of other shops and stores, are all within close proximity in Sooke.
You will receive an email with your Door and Access Codes, Directions and Maps, 2 days before your Check-in date.
At TGE-S, you will be secluded in the rural area of Shirley, just outside Sooke, on very quaint acreage with a large wooded area beside and around it, that you’ll be nosed right into the edge of it. The Coach is fully equipped with just about everything you will need. It accommodates up to 4 guests.
Lots of linens, dishes, utensils, appliances, pots and pans, a supply of basic spices and a new microwave, and fridge/freezer, with ice maker.
Cable TV, Netflix, Telus Channels with all the Outdoors, Documentary and Sports Channels, free Fibre 1G (940+ Mbps) Internet and WiFi, with ethernet connection outlets.
It has ample free parking. Is pet friendly, for dogs only. Do come and enjoy a stay at “The Great Escape - Shirley - with Secluded Hot Tub”.
The Coach is ideal for that private ' Get-Away ' and some relaxation time away. We love to host guests at our quiet and quaint property.

Our hosts Ian and Jodi were awesome. The family coach was very clean, organized and well stocked. Check in and check out very smooth, loved the walk through with Ian who demonstrated the use of all appliances, especially the hot tub. The hot tub was a great treat at the end of the day after exploring some of the local sites. It was my birthday and the hosts left a lovely bottle of wine for us to celebrate. Most definitely will return in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The coach was comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting in our own private hot tub at night among the very tall trees.

Best RV stay Ive had in a long time. I although the RV is an older model everything worked great and it was very spacious feeling. We had 3 adults with us and there was plenty of space for us. It could have fit 4 adults but I think it would have been cramped. Two adults and two kids would be fine though.The property the RV sits on is more of a rural area in the woods but it was very easy to find and access. Beach is close, shopping fairly close, lots to see and do in the area of you don't want to spend time driving around alot.I would suggest checking out the Sooke Potholes, it's a cute swimming area that's fresh water and not too deep so it's good for kids.We really can't complain about anything with this property. The hot tub worked great, the shower and bathroom were a good size and worked great, the beds were very comfy, kitchen had everything you could need, the bbq worked and the hosts Jodi and and Ian were lovely welcoming people. All in all we give this place a 10 star!

Ian and Jody were very helpful and accommodating. Ian provided a very thorough check in process and we did not need to ask any further questions. The coach was very roomy, clean, and a perfect fit. The outdoor area was excellent for relaxing and allowed us to enjoy the outdoors without having to go anywhere. The private trail had a nice view of the ocean, overall a great experience. Thanks Ian and Jody!
