We loved our stay at Stoney Creek. Clean, very well supplied with everything we needed. We had a small family holiday party in the main living area and we had plenty of room to play cards, watch old family pictures/videos, and cook at the same time. The location and property worked perfect for us. Great communication and flexible check in/out directions. Thanks!

Since moving to FL 50+ years ago I have always missed fall in PA with all the beautiful colors of fall leaves. This was the perfect week for time in the country this year. The drive in from the expressway was a long winding road past the most outstanding colors we have seen in a long time. It is definitely in the country but close enough to restaurants, shopping not to be an inconvenience. I am also handicapped and other than the three rock steps to navigate to enter the home it was so very easy to get around the house. It is very open and wheelchair or walker friendly. We had our 2 yr old great granddaughter with us and they had a large toy box with toys and books she loved. the 3 bedrooms were perfect for us. The living area was very open with two sofas with recliners on both ends and a large comfy chair. We have a lot of family in PA so had a double family get together. The Sat.at the house we had half the family at 1pm and the second half at 4pm. The back yard is perfect the groups we had which were about 20 people each group and that allowed enough room for parking. The little creek behind the house and the bridge over to a large back yard was great for my nieces and nephews from age 1 year old to 16 years old. They have chairs on the deck but they also have folding chairs for the deck and with family milling around in and out, some watching football games and others just talking and catching up it was a wonderful day. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved the vacation home, beautifully set feet from the creek. The place is clean and uncluttered inside with clean lines and plenty of space to stretch out. Everyone loved the space. Whenever we come back to the area we will definitely check to see if this home is available.

We came to town for our niece's graduation party, and this property was the perfect retreat! Clean, quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Barb was great with communication, and the cookies were a very thoughtful touch! We will definitely try to book again when visiting in the future!

Property is very private and backs to rolling hill and flowing creek which is beautiful and relaxing to enjoy on rear deck. Plenty of space and parking. Shopping is a short drive away for groceries or other necessities. We enjoyed our stay and the memories that our family created.

This is our second time here and it did not disappoint. Plenty of parking, treats for us and our pets and convenient drive to a lot of places in Pittsburgh (several local ones as well). Many amenities are provided, beautiful scenery. Will come back again!

The house had everything you would need if you were at home besides food and personal items. It was clean comfortable and the view!!! Communication with the host was flawless and those cookies that were waiting for us, and that fresh welcoming scent of home, makes this the best Pittsburg stay ever! The area is very quiet and we had a couple of friendly visitors (critters) that lounged in the grass and fun to watch. I will absolutely stay again if it is available.

This is the third time I’ve stayed here and I adore this house. Great layout and has everything you need. Only thing that would improve it would be a fenced area for the pup, but I found a dog park nearby. Owners are very responsive and I plan to stay again.

Spacious and beautiful. Remote from urban region. The drives from property to various activity locations were gorgeous and adventurous! Check in/out and stay was very easy. Property manager was very responsive to queations before and during stay. Highly recommend to anyone comfortable with a more rural location and bit of distance to restaurants, stores, and activities. Worth the distances, we thought !

Fresh baked cookies. Sweet little treats for our kiddos. It was the perfect spot to stay while visiting my family. The back deck was an amazing spot to have your morning coffee while listening to the little stream. The kids played for hours in that stream catching all sorts of crawfish. Immaculate residence in a quiet and park like area 30 mins from Pittsburg PA. The hosts were wonderful and responded to our request for help when we accidentally locked some of our party out of the residence. Very updated accommodation with everything you could possibly need to enjoy a weekend with family and friends. Definitely would stay here again!

We really enjoyed our time here. Beautiful home and scenery. However, this VRBO was still very close to many amenities, making it easy to find a nice restaurant or take a quick trip to Pittsburgh. We came to town to visit relatives and were very impressed. We encountered a minor issue upon arrival and the problem was solved by the owners very quickly. Very clean, provided cookies for us and treats for our pups. Would definitely stay here again!!

This is a really great rental property, especially if it fits your needs locationally. Really beautiful interiors. Kitchen outfitting is basic but can accommodate 8, esp since you can use the table under the master bed for indoor use. Only one bathroom but with double sinks.. ..so plan accordlingly...For us, we were looking for a home that provided space to spend a family holiday with my dad who uses a walker and this place was perfect -- one level. He managed the three steps up out front but there is a wheelchair ramp out back but I would ask specific questions if your person is wheelchair -bound. May have to traverese grass/rocks etc Barb was super responsive to anything I asked. I would (and probably will) stay here again, no worries

Thank you so much to our hosts for all of the thoughtful extras that you provide for your guests. It felt like home. The plate of delicious cookies topped it off! The location was perfect for us while visiting family and friends in our former home town. Beautiful backyard allowed us to relax in a calming environment. The only negative was that we were running around so much we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the property. I will definitely book this again when we return for future visits.

Coming back to our hometown area for my son's wedding we decided it would be helpful to have our own space. Barb's property was absolutely perfect. It was in the middle of all our family and friends and gave us a place to gather. We enjoyed being able to cook for everyone & have a few bonfires. It also proved us with a quiet tranquil place to truly relax and get away. I would highly recommend Stoney Creek to anyone who needs a home away from home.

We rented the house for our son’s wedding nearby. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful! The property is gorgeous. The bridge over looking the creek is so nice. Barb had homemade cookies, chocolates on the beds and beautiful Gerber Daisies waiting for us when we arrived. Barb not only provides all the essential items you need but also all the little things to make guest feel like there home. She even had a basket of umbrellas to use if needed. Barb also provided extra toiletries, just in case we forgot something. We appreciated how well the house was stocked with very nice household items. Everything was perfect!! We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the area. We felt at home and we were not lacking anything. Donna Stayed 8/10-8/15
