For quieter moments away from the tourist trail, the hidden passages of Paris - Galerie Vivienne, Galerie Véro-Dodat - are well worth discovering.
Getting Around:
The apartment is well served by public transport:
- Palais Royal – Musée du Louvre (Metro lines 1 & 7) - 2 minutes on foot
- Louvre – Rivoli (Metro line 1) - 3 minutes on foot
- Châtelet – Les Halles (RER A, B, D + Metro lines 1, 4, 7, 11, 14) - 10 minutes on foot
- A Vélib' bicycle station is located within a few minutes' walk for those who prefer to explore Paris on two wheels.
- Taxis can be booked via the guest platform.

Traveled to Paris with 6 adults and 2 children and this accommodation fit us nicely. It is in a great location - across the street from the Louvre and Tuileries Garden, nearby great restaurants and grocery stores. Some things to keep in mind:
1. Not going to fault the apartment for the layout, but the stairs to one of the bedrooms are quite steep and can be dangerous if your party has children or older adults.
2. The shower room upstairs has a poor enclosure and water will leak out of the door.
3. The carpet area under the couch in the picture is extremely slippery - I nearly did the splits multiple times, so please be mindful.
Although this accommodation is on the expensive end, the convenience of location and size, which I know is rare in Paris, is worth it in my opinion.
