About this apartment rental
Cozy apartment located right in the heart of the city's historic center.
It has 2 bedrooms, 1 living room with a dining area and a sofa bed for an extra person.
It's located on the 2nd floor of a historic building with stairs.
Fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Sugar and coffee are also provided.
Towels and sheets are provided, and we’ll make the beds for you!
The space
Right in the heart of the historic center, this newly renovated old and traditional building features a relaxed interior with unique, locally inspired handmade pieces. It has 2 rooms, one bathroom, and a sofa bed.
It’s perfect for a family trip or a business trip.
If you arrive by train, you can walk to the house.
If you’re arriving by car, there’s a large parking lot serving the historic area right across the street, and it’s just a 2-minute walk.
My husband and I are both architects, and we designed this space with contemporary aesthetics, materials, and modern comforts in mind. Over the years, we’ve collected traditional Portuguese decor pieces from our travels and vacations, and we decided to incorporate them into the apartment’s decor. Every item has a story to tell and a happy family adventure to remember, so we hope you’ll not only enjoy our home but also respect and take care of it.

We stayed for one week to visit the city where I once studied for some time. The apartment was very clean, had everything we needed for one week and was very close to the baixa and the market hall.

The apartment is within steps (literally) of the town market, the Elevator to the university, and the main pedestrian plaza. It faces a pedestrian alley and is quiet at night. The Host was gracious with our communications when I was confused about the check-in process. They provided well written and detailed instructions that I failed to read carefully.
The kitchen was well stocked so that you could easily cook there, coffee, tea, some spices and oils were present. Shower was roomy, soaps were also provided.
Coimbra is a beautiful place to visit and the apartment made the stay very easy and enjoyable.
