About this villa rental
Casa Palana has been uniquely tailored to provide our 'Adults Only' guests with the ultimate in luxury! Accommodation comprises of 3 double bedrooms, 2 marble finished bathrooms (one en-suite), a comfortable, spacious lounge, a bespoke fitted kitchen with built in appliances, large utility area housing a modern American fridge/freezer and a bright, sizable dining room with french style doors leading out onto the beautifully kept cactus gardens and extensive patio/terrace. Externally, under a wooden pergola is a cosy seating area offering access to the stunning 10m x 5m individually designed, solar heated swimming pool. For added relaxation, an invigorating 6 person Jacuzzi/Hot tub at a constant 38 degrees, can be found surrounded by a screened area of pretty Buganvilla plants. The owners, who have lived locally for over 11 years, personally manage and maintain Casa Palana - therefore, they will be on hand to welcome you to their beautiful villa and offer guests their extensive knowledge of the breathtaking island. A complimentary welcome pack including a chilled bottle of Spanish Cava will be awaiting your arrival! Private airport transfers are available to guests upon request.

It is a residential area with permanent living and holiday homes. Faro Park has some lovely restaurants and bars and 2 smaller supermarkets and a good bakery.
It is a 5 minutes walk to the seaside promenade.
Faro Park as a communal pool and communal BBQ Area.
Getting there
DIRECTIONS TO VILLA FROM ARRECIFE AIRPORT (Journey time from the airport to Playa Blanca is approx 30 – 40 minutes)
As you leave the airport car park you will turn left at the exit and follow the sign T2- Arrecife/Yaiza, this will take you out of the airport complex and the road goes around to the right, down to a roundabout – continue around the roundabout and follow the sign Arrecife/Yaiza. You will pass the slip road to Arrecife on your right but you will continue straight on following signs Yaiza/Playa Blanca – this road takes you underneath the main North-South road called the LZ2. Follow the road which takes quite a sharp circular turn to your right and loops clockwise up onto the LZ2 heading south (airport and sea will now be on your left).
You are now on the LZ2, the main route to the South of the island and the resort of Playa Blanca (approx 30km)
Continue to follow the signs to Yaiza/Playa Blanca
After passing the town of Tias, ensure you keep in the left hand lane of the dual carriageway to stay on the correct road (if you find that you have exited by mistake and on the road to Conil, carry on down to the next island which should be signposted back onto to LZ2/Yaiza/Playa Blanca)
Continuing on the LZ2 you will pass through the village of Macher, then passing the Lanzarote a Caballo on the right. The next village will be Uga, which is on the right of the LZ2, shortly after which you will approach a large roundabout on the outskirts of the village of Yaiza. Keep in the right hand lane and continue on the LZ2, towards Playa Blanca, passing the signs El Molino De Yaiza. You will now enter the outskirts of the Timanfaya National Park, seen to the right hand side of the road and the black volcanic lava fields will form the scenery for the next few kilometres. The LZ2 takes you directly into Playa Blanca.
As you approach Playa Blanca, the first roundabout has a pretty windmill in the centre and a Cepsa Petrol Station (24hr) on the opposite side, - at this roundabout, take the second right hand turn signposted Faro de Pechiguera/Rubicon Hotel/Urbanisation. Continue along this dual carriageway passing the HL Playa Blanca Hotel on the right and the Corbeta Hotel on the left. Continue for approximately 2km, passing Jardines Del Sol Complex and then the Alyssa Complex on your right. The Rubicon Hotel will then be on your left and the road continues down hill. Continue downhill, across the first mini roundabout and onto the next mini roundabout where you will turn left into the Faro Park Residential area. Continue to the next mini roundabout, Faro de Pechiguera – the lighthouse, will be in front of you, at this mini roundabout turn right and then continue across the next two mini roundabouts, passing the local supermarkets and restaurants on your left. After the second mini roundabout, take the next right turn into Faro Park Residential (this is entrance number 10 ). After entering Faro Park, continue along and take the 3rd left turning where Casa Palana, villa no.49, is located, 3rd Villa on the left.

Casa Palana was the perfect location for us to unwind with the privacy of our own pool, hot tub and poolside sunbathing terrace. The Villa and outside space was spacious with more than enough room for the two of us and easily enough for 5/6 people. There were lots of local restaurants and a handful of shops about 3 minutes walk away that made the balance between self catering and eating out a lot easier. You can get by without a car here but having a car opens up the whole island. There was space for one car outside the villa but there was also some street parking nearby if there were multiple cars in your party. The pool was great. It is solar heated by solar panels heating the water but the breeze did make it a little chilly at times but you’d get that anywhere on the island really. The hot tub was always warm and is in its own private walled off area which makes relaxing easy. The bed was the most comfortable that we’ve had on any Spanish holiday. The kitchen was well equipped and the bbq was a nice touch as well. There is no air conditioning but all the windows can be left open with secure shutters with insect netting on and there are multiple fans for guest use.
We needed to contact the management company once in order to resolve an issue with the fans which was dealt with extremely quickly. The management company is the old owners Paul and Cerys who were lovely and very knowledgeable about the Villa and the area.
I’d highly recommend Casa Palana to others and would be happy to be contacted for questions from other potential guests

Brilliant villa great location, owners lovely and friendly lots of info given to us when Paul picked us up from the airport. Shopping and bus route easy to find.
Didn't want to go home.

A beautiful well maintained and presented villa. Furnished and equipped to a high standard. In a very quiet location but only two minutes easy stroll to a good selection of shops,bars and restaurants.
excellent pool and hot tub also maintained to a high standard.
Owners are on hand if any problems arise(we had none) but not intrusive.
We have already booked again for next year,this time for longer.
