Escape to the San Juan Mountains at this 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin with a loft, located just 4 miles north of Ouray. Oversized picture windows frame sweeping forest and mountain views, while indoor and outdoor dining spaces invite you to relax after a full day of adventure. This retreat is thoughtfully designed with a flexible layout perfect for families or friends traveling together. One area is upstairs and the other on the main level, each with its own comfortable touches for sleeping, relaxing, and cooking. To move between them, you’ll step outside briefly before re-entering—adding to the mountain charm and making it feel like your own special hideaway within one property.

• RVs/trailers not permitted; free overflow parking available at west end of 9th Ave in Ouray
• Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside are kept cool by opening windows at night when temps drop into the 40s and closing them with window coverings before sunrise.
• STR Permit #2025-067
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

I was looking for a small private Mountain cabin to enjoy all that Ouray has to offer without the clutter of a resort. Thanks you Singer cabin 1 and VRC for a fabulous stay. It was exactly what I was hoping for. The quaint cabin is set on a hill overlooking the valley with spectacular mountain views. We especially enjoyed the morning sunrises.

Location was very nice but not worth the price. The unit says sleeps 5, but didn’t realize it was in two different units. Was very hot in the upstairs bedrooms. Address was wrong on VRBO and didn’t receive any instructions prior to arriving.
