This exquisite villa boasts 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and is situated in the center of South Beach. A secluded private beach is just a quick 50-step stroll away. Additionally, guests have access to a shared pool that is conveniently located right near the front entrance. 1456 Sound Villas is situated between Calibogue Sound and the Braddock Cove inlet in South Beach and you are able to take in the panoramic ocean views of the Calibogue Sound and Daufuskie Island from either of the two private outdoor spaces. The sliding glass doors from the balcony open to the lower level patio where you can barbeque on the gas grill and dine alfresco at the outdoor table or enjoy the second-story deck offers another table beneath an umbrella and more stunning views of the sound. My group of 7 adults who stayed in this villa all rate the property 5 out of 5! It is a beautiful home and everything about it is top shelf, from the furnishings, decor, kitchen and appliances, outdoor spaces to the pool. We loved our stay at this property and would definitely return. All of the beds are very comfortable, even the Murphy bed in the lower level. That space was my 31-year-old daughter's "bedroom," and she loved it. Unlike some places I've stayed at, there were plenty of blankets to keep us comfortable. All four bathrooms were also gorgeous and clean. The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of cookware and dishes, glasses, etc. to "eat in" if you are so inclined. The place was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. Checking in was easy and went smoothly. The views from the balcony at sunset are stunning.

Easy check in and out. Great location, easy access to beach and pool. Property well maintained and clean! Appreciate the full size dish and hand soaps in bathrooms, ample beach towels. We rented beach stuff from South Beach Racquet Club which is walkable and has great pickleball! Kids loved trolley (runs every 30 min to Harbor Town) and Salty Dog Cafe for ice cream. Note - beach umbrella in bin is very broken but not big deal.

Hard to decide what we liked better: The very short walk to the beach, the view of the water from the balcony, or the super clean conditions of the villa. Our family (eight adults and two 1-year-olds) loved how close we were to the beach, especially when you consider all of the extras that accompany any trip with little ones. If you felt like a stroll along the shore, you just walked out the door and 30 yards later, you were catching glimpses of dolphins. We loved the cleanliness of the villa, as well as the soft bathroom towels, the available beach towels and chairs, the patio deck with new BBQ, and that relaxing view from the balcony. Since there are three main floors to this unit, plan to bring some gates or other obstacles if you have toddlers. The two upstairs bedrooms are large enough for portable cribs, but not the bedroom behind the kitchen: that room contains two Queen beds. We used the Murphy bed on the bottom floor and it worked out well. There’s not a great amount of privacy in that room since it’s the main way to get to the beach and patio deck. But the room has its own bathroom so it worked well for us. The villa was just a 5-minute walk to pickleball courts and the Salty Dog restaurant and shops. This is the far end of the island, and it seems a bit quieter than other areas. But you are about 15 minutes or more from a grocery store, so it’s not a quick trip for that gallon of milk. We will definitely stay here the next time we come back to HHI.
