Stretch out in a large, King-sized bed with Kitchenette, Fireplace, and Private Bath. These studios at 73 Catherine Street also feature a big, flat-screen TV with cable, A/C, free Wi-Fi, and free off-street private parking for one car. Walk to town center, but sleep in peaceful quiet.

If you are interested in and willing to walk to avoid parking challenges, this is the ideal location! From here you can walk to Easton Beach and the north end of the Cliff Walk in about 15-20 min.; the bus/trolley line, which takes you all around Newport (for free summer 2026) in about 10 minutes; and the shopping and restaurants of the waterfront district in 15-25 minutes. It's central location was the reason I chose the Admiral Sims House. The host was friendly; and the simple, yet delicious, grab-and-go breakfast was great, especially when enjoyed on the huge and beautiful porch. Our room was bright, clean, and attractive. It may sound a little silly, but I also really enjoyed the shower.
