About this cabin rental

This is a cabin located in the woods of the Shawnee Forest on the Shawnee Wine Trail. Our cabin has 2 bedrooms with one as an upstairs loft. It features a full kitchen with a microwave, stove, and refrigerator. Our cabin also offers satellite TV in every room, DVD player in living room, sound throughout the cabin, and a hot tub. Excellent host and property with everything you might need! Loved the hidden-in-the-woods setting and serene deck. Convenient proximity to hiking trails in the area. Would definitely love to stay here again!

Great property that is secluded and cozy. We enjoyed birding on the back porch. The space was clean and comfortable.

If you're coming for the shower, hot tub, and stereo system, you're in for a treat—they were easily the stars of the stay. The cabin itself was clean, which we appreciated.That said, the driveway deserves its own warning label. It's steep enough that one side is nearly impossible to get up without a 4x4. Use the Dutch Drive. Inside, the kitchen was short on pots and pans, the downstairs bed and pillows were insanely uncomfortable and had us racing home to our own bed. The living room furniture wasn't ideal for relaxing either. A full-size couch and/or a couple of reclining chairs would have made a big difference.Overall, we enjoyed the amenities and privacy of the cabin, but with a few upgrades to the furnishings and a heads-up about the driveway, this cabin could be a much better experience.
