About this house rental
The Cocoonr Agency is pleased to present ‘Le Sémaphore’ in Cancale, which commands a majestic view over Cancale Bay. It has a floor area of 180m² and can accommodate up to 12 guests.
The house comprises a large living room, a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, four lovely bedrooms – one of which has an en-suite bathroom on the ground floor – two shower rooms upstairs, and three toilets.
Boasting breathtaking sea views, stretching as far as the Chausey Islands and Mont-Saint-Michel on a clear day, this holiday home has been designed as a haven of peace for families or groups of friends seeking relaxation, conviviality and the great outdoors. Its sauna with sea views and its large bay windows invite you to take in the scenery at any time of day.
Cleaning is included in the rental, and 4* hotel-quality linen is provided (sheets, towels, tea towels); your bed will be made upon arrival.
As soon as you step inside, you’ll be charmed by the elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The house is spread over two spacious levels, with light-filled living areas where everyone can find their own space to unwind or spend time together.
It is laid out as follows:
On the ground floor:
- A fully equipped, modern and inviting kitchen,
- A light-filled dining room and a cosy double lounge with a panoramic window, sofas and a television – ideal for evenings or afternoons spent reading whilst looking out to sea.
- A master suite with a panoramic sea-view bay window, a queen-size bed (160x200), and an en-suite bathroom (vanity unit, bath, shower, heated towel rail, toilet).
- A separate toilet.
Upstairs:
- A double bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200) and a panoramic window overlooking the sea,
- A double bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200) overlooking the garden.
- A shower room with shower, vanity unit, heated towel rail and toilet.
- A large dormitory-style bedroom with single beds, sleeping up to 6 people, and an en-suite shower room with shower, double vanity unit and heated towel rail.
Also available to you are a high chair and a travel cot (please request this when booking; we will set up the travel cot for your baby). For safety and hygiene reasons, we do not provide any mattresses other than the one already included with the travel cot. Please feel free to bring your own if you’d like one.
Outside, the charm is just as evident. A huge 70m² south-facing wooden terrace, furnished with garden furniture, sun loungers, a plancha and a parasol, invites you to enjoy sunny lunches or magical sunsets over the bay. The large garden, ideal for both play and relaxation, features a second shaded relaxation area with sea views – perfect for a nap or a peaceful aperitif.
Ideally situated just a few minutes’ drive from Cancale’s most beautiful beaches: Enjoy easy access to the wild coastline and its finest fine-sand beaches: Saussaye Beach (800 metres away), Port Mer Beach (900 metres away) and Verger Beach (2.3 km away).
Just a 5-minute drive away, you can enjoy all the essential shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars and the market in the town of Cancale (on Sunday mornings). La Houle harbour awaits you for a tasting of fresh oysters in a typically Breton atmosphere.
It’s also the ideal starting point for exploring the region’s wonders: the Pointe du Grouin (accessible on foot via the GR34), Saint-Malo, Mont-Saint-Michel and Dinard.
On arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the team at Cocoonr, the agency specialising in ‘move-in-ready’ rentals, who will be on hand throughout your stay to ensure you make the most of it.

- Parties and loud music on the terrace are not permitted due to the proximity of neighbours and the naturally quiet and peaceful surroundings. We will be vigilant regarding any disturbances and count on you to observe good neighbourly practices so that this stay is a pleasant memory for everyone.
- Cleaning is included in the rental price and 4* hotel-quality linen is provided (bed linen, bath towels, tea towels); your bed will be made up on arrival.
- Free Wi-Fi available
- Pets not permitted
- End-of-stay cleaning does not include routine tasks such as washing up and tidying away crockery, cleaning the griddle or taking out the rubbish. A surcharge of €50 will be applied if Cocoonr has to do this on your behalf.

Le Sémaphore "A gorgeous location, a short walk from a lovely quiet beach, stunning views from every window. Charming furnishings and a well-appointed kitchen. Huge terrace and very nice garden. There is a road on the opposite side of a field but it doesn't disturb and you don't really even see the cars.
Very idyllic. The panorama window in the sauna is an added bonus."

Le Sémaphore My family and I loved this place. The house was as beautiful as in the photos, with spectacular views, including a blinking lighthouse and even the silhouette of Mont Saint-Michel in the distance. Very clean, modern and comfortable and within a few minutes' walk from a scenic hiking trail and a great beach. My kids really enjoyed all the toys available in the house. There were a lot of French children's books there, too, and even a record player with a nice collection of records. It felt like a home. The kitchen was equipped well enough for our light cooking. The host who checked us in was very nice, professional and responsive. The house came with a detailed online manual in English, including troubleshooting tips, the location of the glass recycling container in the nearby port, as well as restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. We wouldn't hesitate to rent this place again in the future.

Very nice location overlooking the sea and green shoreline. Quiet and relaxed surrounding and within short walking distance to a nice beach as well as the city.
Wonderful house – newly renovated, nicely styled and furbished, with perfect equipment, all clean. Very friendly and flexible servce. Full thumbs up! Thank you for allowing for a nice vacation!
