The Historical Franklin House is located on Franklin St. - Frankenmuth's historical street. Situated close to downtown, you'll be within walking distance to local restaurants, bars, shops and other world famous attractions. Drink coffee on the front porch and watch the horse-drawn carriages gallop by or spend a lazy afternoon in the large, bay-window living room overlooking Franklin St. This space is newly remodeled featuring a sprawling white marble master bath, large front porch with seating, mid-century modern furnishings, and cozy living areas. Great location but maintenance issues exist. Toe guards on the steps to house were loose and one came off during our stay. There were loose boards in the kitchen area. If we had stepped on these the boards would have broken. The exhaust fan in the bathroom made a terrible noise and had dead bugs visible when the light was turned on.
