The Historical Franklin House is located on Franklin St. - Frankenmuth's historical street. Situated close to downtown, you'll be within walking distance to local restaurants, bars, shops and other world famous attractions. Drink coffee on the front porch and watch the horse-drawn carriages gallop by or spend a lazy afternoon in the large, bay-window living room overlooking Franklin St. This space is newly remodeled featuring a sprawling white marble master bath, large front porch with seating, mid-century modern furnishings, and cozy living areas. It was very nice and pictures are accurate. I did not realize that you are only renting the upstairs of the home, though, and you have to park on the street. It was not an issue for us, I just did not see that in the description. Having said that, we loved the rooms and bathroom was phenomenal! The kitchen does not have a stove or a full size refrigerator, though, again, not an issue for us, just something to keep in mind. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute and cozy. However, not at all convenient for anyone with mobility issues. Second floor only, narrow stairwells, narrow doorways, many throw rugs that are trip hazards. Front porch is old and not sure it would pass safety inspection. Beautiful bathroom, but no privacy. Large window in bathroom with no covering. Visible to any neighbors in back. Kitchenette has no sink and no plates, etc other than a few coffee cups and a few plastic spoons. Balcony overlooks garage. Overall, quaint and comfortable, but not represented well in description.
