The Bunkhouse at Woodland Escape, paradise meets the countryside. Texas style private cabin located on a scenic 5 acres in Wise County TX. Just minutes away from LBJ Grasslands, Black Creek Lake & historic down town Decatur. Also, just a short 45 minute drive to Winstar Casino, the Stockyards in down town Ft Worth and Texas Motor Speedway. Close enough to enjoy the DFW area but far enough that you can still enjoy the peace and quiet that the Texas countryside offers.
Property features a fire pit, swimming pool, hot tub & outdoor kitchen w/gas grill & pizza oven for use in the common area.
There are 2 rental houses that share the outdoor areas including the swimming pool. The hot tub is available for private use by 1 hr reservation. The Bunkhouse is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Decorated in a cozy farmhouse theme with games and crafts for families and couples.
We are pet friendly, $10 per pet per night. Enjoy nature, stargaze in the hammock, roast smores by the fire or cool off in the pool! Unplug, relax & recharge! Complimentary farm fresh eggs provided for every stay.

Space was clean and tidy - some rules caught us off guard, but we realized those were in place to keep inconsiderate guests from running wild. Great stay, would return.

Everything was great! I cant say enough about the location, cabin, outside kitchen area with a grill and pizza oven! The host was absolutely AMAZING!!! She always responded to any questions I had, and helped with anything I asked about! This is a great remote place to stay! Highly recommend!!!!!
