About this house rental
The Wine Down Bungalow on Seneca Lake ensures your total privacy with 1 exclusive parking spot for your stay. The bungalow completely remodeled in 2023. It is a separate cottage/apartment from the main lakehouse where you will receive an exclusive key pad entrance to unlock your way to a spacious style bungalow. The Wine Down has a stand up shower and closet with linens/towels. Dinette for two, kitchen including fridge, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig and varieties of kcups and tea. The seating area includes two swivel cushion chairs, and a couch for watching TV and relaxing. One comfortable queen size bed with a fireplace and a Mitsubishi heating and cooling unit throughout. Large grill for exclusive use provided outside along with a table and two chairs.
The bungalow is ideal for individuals looking to take in the FLX region and all of its offerings. We are in a perfect location to numerous wineries and lake viewing points. Less than a mile down the road is Roy's Marina where you can rent all your watercraft needs for the day. Additionally, we are less than a 5 minute drive to downtown Geneva and numerous restaurants to explore during your time. ***Note: This rental comes with shared access only to the dock with our larger 4 bedroom home renters. All other waterfront such as firepit, decks, boating, and etc is not shared and exclusive only to the renters of the larger home. Please be mindful of one another. If your looking for more room, feel free to check out our larger Lakehouse rental site, its called Wine Down Retreat (#1884018) on Seneca Lake. The sunrises are beautiful and there are many viewing points here and nearby.

From the photos that were on the listing do not show you what your actual view is. You are staying at a repurposed garage that is very nice that isn’t the problem. But I thought we would have a lake view. What you actually see is the main house and no view of the water. The listing in my spouse and I is very misleading. I sat sometime on this review before writing It because I hoped my opinion would change. Unfortunately it didn’t. If you want to have a place close to the water this is the spot if you want a water view this is not. Overall had a great stay but the deception of having a view really hurt my opinion of this place.
