About this apartment rental
Apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Located in the heart of the historic centre at Rioja street, just a few steps away from the most popular shopping streets (Velázquez, Sierpes and Tetuán), and 500 metres from the Cathedral.
The bright living room has 2 sofas, a central table and TV. Two windows allow plenty of light in. Next to the living room is the dining area with a large table and chairs. Galley kitchen in the entrance area well equipped with utensils and appliances for self-catering.
The master bedroom has a double bed (1,35x1,90m), a large wardrobe and two windows facing the pedestrian Rioja street. En-suite bathroom complete with shower. The second bedroom is just by the apartment entrance door and features two single beds (0,90x1,90m) placed together. Window to a quiet interior courtyard. There is a second bathroom available, with shower.
Other features: marble flooring, air-conditioning in the bedrooms and living-room, and free wireless internet. You will receive the access code on your arrival.
The apartment is on the third floor with elevator.

The apartment offers an unusual amount of privacy for the two bedrooms: The bedroom which has the bathroom en-suite, has a second, independent entrance from the staircase of the building (see floorplan). At the same time, it is connected to rest of the apartment through the living room.

Great location in the city. Supermarket of El Cortés Inglés on the door step. Great restaurants, shops, bars all right in the vicinity.

The location was excellent as far as being walkable to most sites. It was somewhat noisy at night meaning we couldn't have the windows open for sleeping.

The apartment itself was large and in a good area, but unfortunately, the small details really took away from our experience and would keep us from returning. Our first issue was with the shower mats. The shower floors were slippery, so we requested mats. At first, they misunderstood and brought us two towels for the floor outside the shower. Once we clarified what we meant, we were told they’d get back to us promptly — but they never did.There were also several other issues that showed a lack of attention to guest comfort. There was nowhere to place our toiletries in the shower, no shelf or safety rail, and the provided shampoo and body wash were half-used bottles. In the bedrooms, there was no place for our suitcases, so we had to keep them on the floor. The sofa was ripped, there were no new toilet paper rolls, and the hand soap in the bathroom was half-used and old flowers where left on the table, all of which made the place feel poorly prepared for new guests.The kitchen added to our frustration. There were no instructions for using the stove top or microwave. When we texted the host, they sent someone over who also didn’t know how to use them and figured it out by trial and error. We later found the instructions on top of the refrigerator — completely out of sight. On top of that, the kitchen was stocked with a dirty sponge, no kitchen towel, and a half-used roll of paper towels
