Welcome to The Workshop at Prairie Base! Situated on a family cattle ranch between Rolla & St. James, Missouri just off I-44. This newly finished getaway offers a panoramic view and peaceful location. Enjoy comforts like a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, brand new plush mattresses, a large front porch, & WiFi. Visit Missouri S&T, spend a day at Fugitive Beach, or sample local libations in St. James. After, enjoy dinner on the patio or gather by the fire pit.
A shared 30' x 50' in ground pool is available seasonally.

This is a farmstead that is private and quiet but close to town.
Enjoy the view of the railroad and passing trains. You will hear an occasional in the distance.
-Guests only at the pool, please follow all posted pool rules
-No events or extra guests without prior authorization
-No smoking/vaping on the property
-No pets/no exceptions
-Quiet hours 9PM/9AM
-Please do not go on the farm without an owner chaperone
-Please everything in the unit in the condition you found it

A little slice of heaven and home in the country. This property offered nostalgia, quiet and the longing for a more relaxed lifestyle. The property was brand-new farmhouse style. The other surrounding properties would make this ideal for a family reunion. Although we were busy with sporting events in Rolla, we did get an opportunity to visit St. James Winery and it was wonderful. If life brings us back thru Missouri, we will visit this farm again. Thank you for sharing your family story and sentimental properties with the public - we felt right at home in grandpa's workshop.
