This is a beautiful home. It was spacious for our family of 11 and the wrap around porch offered a wonderful place to sit and have coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening. I hate to say anything negative about a place we have stayed but this house needs some attention. It is all things that can be easily remedied. The cleaning staff needs to do a better job of cleaning. We found crumbs all inside the kitchen drawers and pantry area. Ceiling fans need to be cleaned as their was dust hanging off of them. There seems to be an electrical issue with the lights. Some came on in the middle of the night and some we couldn’t figure out how to turn them off all the way, ceiling fans would automatically come on and then automatically go off. We sent a message asking about the lights and fans but never got a response. We were going to use the pull out sofa but the mattress had seen a better day and a sheet had been left on it. Some beds didn’t have mattress pads on them and sheets were put on like whoever did it was in a rush and just didn’t care. All of that being said - the property and location were very nice. It was easy to get to the beach. The rented umbrellas and chairs were great. The pool was beautiful and a good size but definitely needed some umbrellas around it as there wasn’t enough shade to accommodate all the chairs. We did enjoy our stay but it could have been better.
