This charming and relaxing home is perfect for an up North vacation. Located on all-sports Bass Lake, this home offers privacy, tucked away in a lovely cove to enjoy the beautiful area and wildlife. This home has a gorgeous stone fireplace in the living room, and the stone theme is continued through the kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with everything a guest would need. The lake is perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing. There is a fire pit to have a bonfire and you can look for lighting bugs as you sit and enjoy the evening sky.
The home offers three bedrooms, a loft area, and one full bathroom. Located 20 minutes outside of Traverse City. This property has 300 feet of private frontage on all-sports Bass Lake. The owner will accept two well-behaved dogs. Guests are expected to clean up after their pet.

Bass Lake Life was very segregated down a dirt road which is great if you’re looking for privacy. I only had a couple of things I wish were different. First the photo showed about 3 tables and umbrellas on the back deck. We arrived to one small bistro table and an offset umbrella in a location that made it unusable. We had to move the umbrella ourselves for shade. We had to move everything back before leaving per rules even though I think what we moved would have been nicer for the next renters. The upstairs loft makes the whole house very hot even with the central air cranked. If you plan to use upstairs bedrooms in summer those folks will be super hot. The home is not in the best shape but it’s a lake house and if you’re ok with that then this space will work. Additionally the row boat was blocking the dock and it was swampy by the beach. The grass was also getting tall which made the mosquitoes worse. The deck railing at the stairs was broken and part is missing altogether from a safety standpoint. The grill also didn’t work properly. YouHad to manually light some burners and the regulatorDidn’t seem to work right. We worked around everything but if you’re expecting what you see in photos the property may not be exactly as advertised unless you make it that way yourself. Overall still a great stay. Location is isolated down a tight dirt road. Still enjoyed ourselves and the stay overall!

We (two adults) had a great time on the lake with our dogs! It was a super private spot and the house was clean with a dishwasher, central air, laundry and a smart tv—convenient in a rental. The back deck was great to sit outside and watch the water and not too buggy facing the lake. Do come prepared with bug spray. We also bought drinking water. Overall a very comfy stay with a pretty view. Would def come back!

The home was great. We loved the fireplace and open feel of the home The house is tucked back on a dirt road, which we liked. We would recommend staying here!
