About this cabin rental
Enjoy some quiet time away at this beautiful ocean cabin fully stocked with all the amenities to make you feel right at home! Step outside and enjoy the fresh air on the private deck and full size hot tub (jacuzzi) or enjoy some dinner and drinks on the open deck overlooking the majestic Pacific Ocean!
The kitchen is equipped with essential cooking basics for your convenience!
The upstairs loft is a "non-standing" Cabin Style loft which is primarily for sleeping (4 ft from floor to ceiling).
I am here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. I’m only a phone call/message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.
After booking is confirmed, you will have direct access to email/text/call for your needs and/or questions.
-Giant Redwood Forests and Trees of Mystery (30 min).
-Brookings harbor with sport fishing (10 min).
-River fishing on Chetco or Smith Rivers (15 min)
-Golfing. Ocean aquarium or lighthouse (20 min)
-Harris Beach State Park (15 min)
- Gold Beach, scenic jet boat tours on the beautiful Rouge River (1 hr)
-Bicycling with superb views of the ocean along old highways or up the Winchuck river.
- Lucky 7 Casino (5 min)
-Or stay at 'home' and enjoy the spectacular view and/or relax in the hot tub while listening to the surf!

>This is a privately owned cabin and is located/managed by White Rock Resort Staff
>Cabins only have heating, no A/C.
>The upstairs loft is a "non-standing" loft which is primarily for sleeping (4 feet from floor to ceiling)
>To preserve the peaceful ambiance and natural atmosphere, deck lighting is intentionally kept minimal.
>Please note: This is a strict non-smoking cabin and IS pet friendly (Up to 2 pets, MAX 50 lbs each) and we charge a $75 one time pet fee. Pets SHOULD NOT be left alone in the cabins and are strictly prohibited in the upstairs non-standing loft.
>Failure to disclose a pet will result in a $150 fine.
>Our pet walking area is the large grass area in front of the main building. Waste must be picked up and disposed of in the trash bins provided
>Due to the remote location, the cabins have smaller water tanks (20 gallons). USE HOT WATER SPARINGLY. If water has cooled, it takes about 20-45 minutes to re-heat
>Given the remote location and inclement weather, please note that Wi-Fi/internet may be affected.

We loved the layout and location. The cabin is charming but could use some work. The cabin was clean and comfortable for 2 having a night in.

Location and beach access are excellent. Smaller than expected with low ceilings. Loft upstairs is not a loft but more of a crawl space. Needs interior paint. Hot tub is private and clean. Sound of the waves was priceless. Pet friendly. I would stay again for sure but may choose a larger unit. Owner was very responsive.

The property is on the beach, but you don't have direct access to the beach from the deck. This is not a serious issue because it's a short walk to the common access point. However, it is also positioned next to an abandoned building in poor repair, which is not a pleasant view.
The property is very clean, good communication and comfortable beyond our minor concerns listed above.
