Nestled in a peaceful area in Caniço de Baixo, the apartment is just 350 meters from the beach and the scenic promenade, where you'll find a great selection of bars, restaurants, cafés, and local supermarkets. For diving enthusiasts—whether experienced or beginners—the nearby dive center is only a 5-10 minute walk away, conveniently located next to a fantastic beachfront bar and restaurant where you can sit back, relax, and take in the stunning ocean views. Looking to explore? Local hotels just 5 minutes away offer incredible excursions, including the famous Levada walks. If you prefer not to drive, the bus stop right across the road provides easy access to local and express buses into Funchal, making it simple to get around and discover all that Madeira has to offer.

For entertainment and convenience, the apartment includes a flat-screen TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, local channels, and high-speed internet. Private underground parking is available.

We absolutely loved this place! it is a lovely, very clean and comfortable two bed, two bathroom place with two balconies. it is equipped with a full kitchen including coffee maker! The kitchen has basics like oil, salt, rice, pasta etc which was amazing. Nigel and Laura stocked up on supplies for us including fruit, milk, and bread which was such a kind touch and our son was so thrilled to find they had put some ice cream in the freezer for him. we were just so touched by how thoughtful they were as hosts. They even asked if there was anything we needed them to get for us. The place was also equipped with all the things needed for a comfortable stay like shampoo, fans, games etc. Nigel and Laura checked in regularly to make sure we were OK and were very responsive to questions. We loved the stunning views over the hills down towards the sea. Its a short walk to the local beach, where the waterside restaurant and cafe serve coffee, yummy fish, local food and ice cream etc. There is a lovely promenade walk. local restaurants are great – one by the roundabout about five minute’s walk away is our favourite. There is also a local shop close by. Its an easy drive to the airport, Funchal and the rest of the island. Cannot recommend highly enough and we hope to come back soon! Thank you, guys, for making our stay so easy and just being so thoughtful and kind.

Nigel and Laura made sure everything in our stay was awesome! From their simpathy, to the welcome basket, to the cleaness and comfyness of the apartment, totally worth every single minute we spent there. The apartment had two balconies with amazing view, private parking, very well equiped kitchen.Thanks Nigel and Laura!!!
