Plan your next vacation to "Hooked On Swordfish"! This upscale four bedroom, three bath duplex has everything you need for a memorable beach vacation. Just three short blocks to the ocean, you can enjoy fun days at the beach and relax by the pool in the evening.
The main level has a well-equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, a spacious living and a dining room that leads out to your private deck overlooking the pool. The third level is where you will find the primary bedroom suite with King bed, spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and an additional bedroom with Queen bed and bath. The first floor has a street side bedroom with a Double bed and pyramid bunk bed (Twin over Double) and an additional Queen bedroom with private deck.
"Hooked on Swordfish" shares a fenced in pool with the duplex. For larger family groups that would like to be close to one another please ask about renting the adjoining unit, "Southern Swordfish", for a total of 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms!
While vacationing in Carolina Beach, be sure to check out the Boardwalk area, where you will find shops, restaurants and the summer activities such as fireworks, carnival rides and live music. Watch the fishermen come in with the catch of the day at the marina or dine out with the family. Only a few miles south to the Ft. Fisher Historic Museum, the Civil War battleground and the NC Aquarium. Make plans to visit Carolina Beach today!

Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. Bedding Configuration: 1 King, 2 Queens, 1 Full, 1 Pyramid Bunk Bed (Twin over Full)
Parking: Parking for three vehicles - one under carport, two driveway
Prohibited: Boat Trailers, Smoking, RV’s, Boats, Pets, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund. All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-refundable cancellation fees and travel insurance (if applicable).

House was very nice and spacious. Would not recommend for older adults especially if you can’t climb a lot of steps because there are a lot. But other then that very nice house

Yes the rooms were clean.Yes the ac worked just fineYes the washer and dryer worked and be sure to bring your own laundry detergent!The host was responsive to our questions and got any issues resolved.

This place was such a great stay! I had a vball tournament and my team and myself stayed there. Very relaxing. Great area, short walk to the beach and there are a few walking restaurants along with several within a 5 min drive. A few things to make your trip even better- Bring extra blankets. Each of the beds was made but there are not any throws if you want to go read a book on the couch, etc.. The pool is shared with whom ever rents the other side. During our stay there was a lot of young kids so we did not go in it. I dont believe it is heated so prepare for a chill if you do not go in during the day. These are not complaints, the place was great and would stay again!

The home is in fairly good condition. Rather outdated. But very clean and decently equipped. The washer/ dryer were quite old and worked poorly. The mattresses all need replacements. The refrigerator was in poor repair. And the biggest disappointment was the pool, which was our of service the entire stay. That was the sole reason for renting that unit. We were never notified. And other renters were only notified the night before. Quite disappointing
