Overall it was a great place to stay. The place was very dog friendly and the owners next door were very nice! The kitchen was pretty well stocked, but could use some culling of duplicate items in the pantry to allow for more space for storing food. Walk to the beach and town was very short and we hardly used our car. The place is somewhat remodeled, but still has some older cabinets. Bed linens and pillows could use a replacement as they seemed pretty old.

There was an ant problem throughout the house mainly in my in laws room. I texted and they promptly came and sprayed. There was no follow up and the problem persisted. Basically my mother in law and her husband slept with ants in their bed the entire stay. The kitchen had an odor that smelled like propane -there might be a leak in the stove area. Overall the house is in average shape wise and found it to be well stocked.for cooking etc.The house is in a good location to most of the towns activities so that was a plus.We have stayed in Manzanita 20 plus times so our rating would be somewhere in the middle. The house certainly didn't dampen our stay but could have some updates.
