Beautifully appointed and with unobstructed, panoramic ocean views, Sea Star #1 is an ideal place to stay with friends and family in Manzanita! Sandy beach and ocean surf are steps across the road out front and the main street of the village with its restaurants and shops is only three blocks away, giving your guests lots of things to do right out the front door. Huge vaulted ceilings in the great room look out to the sea, from Tillamook Head to gorgeous Neahkahnie Mountain. A wood-burning stove and lots of comfy furniture plus a stereo and a large flat-screen TV grace the second-floor living room; the dining room has the same ocean views and connection to the outdoor deck with a barbecue and dining furniture. There’s a fully equipped kitchen for easy meal prep. The bedroom on this level has a queen bed and an outdoor balcony. Downstairs are two more bedrooms with full beds; one opens to a patio through sliding doors. If you plan to travel with a large group, the home next door, Sea Star #2 can also be rented and access doors on the second floor opened for a double great room—perfect for a family reunion. Location is super great, everything else felt a little off.Found an e-cigarette laying around, old food under the couch, lipstick on on glassware. I had to fixe one of the roller blinds that would only go half way up (somebody rolled it up backwards). Also, I have decided to start knocking stars off of locations that ask you to strip the beds...what are we paying a cleaning fee for?

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, and the location is ideal, directly across from the beach. Beautiful ocean views from the giant picture window and from the balconies, including a smaller, more secluded side balcony set among the trees, just off the primary bedroom. The upgraded kitchen is really lovely. There were extra leaves to extend the dining table, and extra chairs stored up on the wall in the garage. Eclectic global decor throughout the rest of the condo.

We enjoyed the ability to walk everywhere with easy access to town and beach. The views were spectacular. The accommodations were comfortable and had what we needed.

Hi there, first off I want to say the location is amazing. That being said, there were a number of disappointing things that we experienced. The first, our trips of water from the ceiling in a number of different locations. Also, finding a flea dead in the sink in the upstairs bathroom, several plugs not working, hard to see cobwebs in the corner of almost every part of the house in the windows. I have to say the furniture is subpar and thrift quality. The chairs in the dining room are falling apart. The couches are uncomfortable one of the beds in the downstairs without the washer and dryer very uncomfortable. Communication with Meredith lodging was fine however their communication with the maintenance people not so much. There was also trash out front in the yard.
