Overall it was a good experience. Paid to have the hot tub ready at check-in but wasn’t up to temperature and useable till day 3. The response to the issue was handled with urgency. Upstairs beach side 2 King bedroom bathroom had a drainage issue. It drained very slow. Did bother us “guys” but should be fixed. Beach views, outdoor space and overall location was 5-star.

The location, the view, the pool, the outdoor space. My family and our friends had a great time during this day. The view of the coast was gorgeous. The pool and the outdoor space, including the TV, helped us to enjoy being outdoors, even when we didn’t feel like taking the very short walk down to the beach. We enjoyed walking to the pier and it is a very, very short drive to any number of excellent restaurants.

I took my adult children with their families for a week’s stay in Sundancer. Private pool was perfect for the kids, ages 3-8, as well as direct access to the beach. Each bedroom has a private bathroom; very helpful for a large family. Plenty of outdoor space for play, hanging out, or having coffee. Very quick access to Hwy 17 (shops, restaurants, etc.). The house was clean and very stocked (towels and washcloths, beach towels, pillows, etc.) but could use some simple updates and touch-ups. Common space inside is limited for larger families but manageable. The management contacted me several times during our stay to ensure everything was great. When I requested a broom and extra bulbs, they arrived at our front door very quickly.

The listing is as pictured, with the exception of all the salt grime, mildew, and rust that needs cleaning/replacing. The location and view are great. The pool and hot tub are great, however the heat failed multiple times so it wasn’t usable for most of our stay. Communication with the host wasn’t great. Several hours or days between responses. However they did bring out a vacuum and iron pretty quickly. Overall it was a nice stay but very overpriced for what you get factoring in all the above.
