Well-known for its abundance of lakeside activities, Roadford Lake is an outdoor adventurer's dream destination, with cycle paths, walking routes and water-based activities galore, so if you'd like to get active during your stay, you can do so to your heart's content. Just 100m from the lake's edge, the setting is a dreamy one, and is perfect as a ‘back to nature' weekend escape or for extended holidays with family and friends. Inside you'll discover a space that's as comfortable as it is good-looking.
There's an open plan living / entertainment area with large dining table and fully-fitted kitchen, as well as big, comfy sofas and a flat screen TV. Two fabulous bedrooms (both of which have sliding doors to the terrace), invite deeply comfortable nights of rest, while the two modern en-suite bathrooms mean plenty of space for four guests.The whole living area opens out on to the private terrace where an outdoor dining suite and a bubbling hot tub invite fresh-air feasts, BBQ's and relaxing soaks in the sunshine, and when the sun sets you can cosy up in front of the 65 inch Skyglass TV for a night of popcorn and movies.
With Roadford Lake being just a short stroll away there is plenty to do right on your doorstep with water sports, a lakeside walk or a cream tea in the cafe all within easy reach. And for those guests travelling with their four-legged companions in tow, there are many walks to enjoy together with excellent viewing points dotted around the waters' edge where you'll be able to relax and soak up the peaceful atmosphere.

Have stayed at Roadford 3 times now and this is the best lodge so far (others were lovely). Doors all situated to get to hot tub easily, spacious lodge with great fixtures and fittings . All you could want in a peaceful location. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone

Very nice property,clean and well equipped,nice and quiet for a short break ,only gripe is I wouldn’t recommend using Devon hampers,I ordered a hamper to be delivered as a surprise for my wife on the day off arrival and it turned up 2 days later,these company’s should deliver themselves and not use DPD.

We were there when temperature was very hot.
Only minor criticism was the weight of duvet on double bed.
.needed a summer weight option.
Blinds on skylight would have helped keep temperature down
Fans and night ac in bedroom excellent.
All excellent - minor criticism only due to heat .
One last thing a site map would be useful showing access to woods etc.
Would thoroughly recommend.
