Places to visit nearby:
• Village Square: A charming, typically Provençal village square (fountain, large esplanade, plane trees, shops). Markets are held there regularly.
• Intermarché A large but cozy supermarket where you can find everything you need. You’ve got to go grocery shopping every now and then... :o)
• Cooperative Winery The Velaux cooperative winery. You’ll find an excellent rosé to enjoy (in moderation!) in the shade of the summer kitchen!
• Post Office + Pharmacy In this parking lot, you’ll find the pharmacy on one side (just in case) and the Post Office on the other (just to stay in touch with loved ones)
• Medical Center Because it’s better to know where to go before problems arise: => general practitioners => specialists => diagnostic center (lab) => radiology, medical imaging
• The Forest This forest is an ideal place for family walks, jogging (early in the morning during the summer), or mountain biking

Less than 30 minutes away
• Sainte Victoire Immortalized by Cézanne. The Bimont Dam is the perfect place to start the hike to its summit (the easiest trail). From the Croix, the view of the region is breathtaking.
• Niolon A magnificent little port overlooking the Marseille harbor. You’ll find charming restaurants where you can dine with a view of the lights of Marseille. A change of scenery and relaxation guaranteed.Info: Be sure to reserve in advance for car access
• Carry Beach A very large white-sand beach. Easy to access and very well equipped (parking, showers, restaurants, diving club)
• Petit Méjean Calanque A beautiful, little-known port (even to locals). A trail branches off and leads to some truly stunning calanques exceptionnelles.Info: —be sure to make a reservation (at the restaurant Le Mange Tout) before arriving to secure parking
• Aix-en-Provence (Cours Mirabeau) There’s not much more to add to what the guidebooks already say about this city.
• Plan de Campagne Shopping Center This is the largest shopping center in Europe. You’ll find everything here (big-box stores, furniture, fashion, sports, a movie theater, McDonald’s, Quick, KFC, pet stores, etc.). The real draw is that everything is open on Sundays (if needed)
• Marseille’s Old Port Here it is, the famous Old Port. A word of advice: don’t eat there (the restaurants aren’t really worth it from a culinary standpoint...)
• Les Terrasses du Port: With over 170 shops, restaurants, and services, Les Terrasses du Port offers a wide variety of choices. Whether you’re a little or very hungry, there’s something for every taste at the restaurants in Les Terrasses du Port.
• Notre Dame de la Garde: She watches over Marseille. The view of Marseille from there is magnificent. A must-see for every OM fan before the games! :o)
• The Vélodrome The absolute mecca for all Ohaime fans... It’s hard to visit Marseille without passing by it (even for those who aren’t OM fans).
• Marseille Beaches Borély Beach, Pointe-Rouge Beach
