About this house rental
Our lodging is located in the beautiful, small, and therefore easy-to-navigate town of Schabenhausen. Schabenhausen is a neighborhood of the municipality of Niedereschach. Niedereschach has everything you need for daily life. Niedereschach is centrally located on the edge of the Black Forest, between Rottweil and Villingen. Or, to put it another way, it’s between Freiburg, Stuttgart, and Lake Constance. Switzerland, Austria, and Alsace are also less than 100 km away.
We’re offering our newly renovated semi-detached house here. All the rooms are very inviting and brightly furnished. There is a master bedroom, as well as a room with two single beds. The master bedroom also has space for a crib or a rollaway bed. The living room, bathroom, and kitchen/dining area are all very spacious.
The semi-detached house features a large terrace, perfect for enjoying breakfast or having a barbecue, as well as a large yard with plenty of open space for playing. The yard has been recently landscaped, so our guests can now use a barbecue and fire pit. Our property includes a large yard where children have plenty of space to play. Of course, all toys and equipment are available for guests to use at any time.
We live on the same property in the other half of the duplex. However, we are very mindful of ensuring our guests have their privacy. If you have any questions, we’re always here to help.
Our property is located on the outskirts of the town of Schabenhausen. The house is set back slightly from the street. Thanks to a large grove of trees, you’ll still have plenty of privacy.
There’s a bus stop right nearby (2 min.). There’s also plenty of parking available in front of the house.

We stayed for 2 weeks in this very cosy home with a lot of room inside and around the house. The family who rent this house are very friendly. They even allow use of their table tennis equipment and bicycles.

The VRBO advertisement describes the apartment 'Beautiful and cozy house in the middle of nature' which is a perfect description.
The apartment is huge with two large bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen / diner and a big, comfortable lounge area. Thankfully, the TV has only German channels so most UK guests are forced to enjoy their evenings reading, playing cards, going for walks and generally doing 'stuff' without being distracted by 'the box'.
Outside there are three seating options so guests can choose to sit in the sunshine or in shade, as they wish.
Within about an hours drive are places such as Freibury, Konstanz and Triberg.
In short ...... it was absolutely lovely and, for us, ideal.

My family and I wanted to get away for a long weekend and relax and explore the Black Forest. Verena’s adorable property popped up and we reserved. She was in contact immediately and met us at the property where she lives with her family. She was very sweet and helpful but never intrusive. We enjoyed the relaxed decor and the multiple outdoor sitting areas of this property. We explored the garden shop across the street and hiked Triberg waterfalls (about 25 minutes away). In the evening we had a fire in the fire pit (Verena made sure we had dry wood!) and watched the kids play football. Checkout was easy and we spent the next day at the outdoor museum. This rental is nearby some restaurants and walking trails and also very relaxing on its own. It is attached to the owners home but feels so secluded and cute. We loved our time here and would love to come back!

This house has the loveliest owner you will ever meet.
Verena could not be more helpful and her house is super modern, comfortable and extremely well equipped.
The location in Niedereschach is perfect as well. The village has all you need - petrol station, supermarkets, bank and restaurants.
The area is great for walking and it has an elaborate cycle path network albeit not all paved.
