The Hilltop Hideaway is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath chalet style home with a view of First Lake. This is the perfect Adirondack getaway on a quiet dead-end right road off Hollywood Rd. On the 1st floor there is the master bedroom with a queen size bed. Up the spiral staircase are 2 bedrooms with full sized beds. The private yard offers a natural fire pit and lots of room to relax and unwind. The outdoor deck space offers vast area for outdoor entertaining. There is plenty of parking space available. It is just a short distance to the Hollywood Hills Association beach (approx 1/2 mile) docks and boat launch where you can enjoy even more of what the area has to offer! Minutes away from downtown Old Forge where there are numerous restaurants, shops, stores and attractions for all ages! Includes cable & WiFi & outdoor camp firewood. Close proximity to Bald Mountain and McCauley Mountain. Quick access to snowmobile Trail 4 & 4A during winter. Campers must provide their own linens. Bathing towels and comforters provided but under bedding must be provided by camper.
Carry in/carry out. Leave no trash or food remains at the camp. Bears follow the scent of food and can turn a property upside down as a result of food remains left behind. NEVER put trash outside the camp when visiting. Trash hand recycling can be dropped off for free at Webb's Transfer Station located at 152 McCauley Mtn Rd.

Everything was how the pictures looked. Amazing location, beautiful views. Wildlife came right up to the house.

We were excited about our rentals - and in all we had a good time grilling , firepit and proximity to Old Forge. A few issues that felt short of expectations - 1) I received on day of travel (oddly - I think it’s probably VRBO glitch ) that we had to bring our own bedding and pillows and beach towels . We did not have any , and had to purchase - and I think that should be clear forthright because some may fly in to Albany / Syracuse etc and would not know to pack. 2) the porch was grand but full of cobwebs on furniture so I spend much time sweeping. There were no cushions for the dining table. 3) Grill was also full of previous food debris so we spent time cleaning that before we started. 4) limited cleaning supplies. There was detergent and a little bottle of bleach based cleaner. We were asked to take out trash with us - because there is no trash pickup on premises. We also cleaned and vacuumed before we we left as per instructions. So all in all - it was Fair. I never had to do this much housework in other rental . I have a housekeeper - they should leave a contact for that because I would have called her in !! Otherwise it’s a cute and cozy chalet ! Thanks.
