Update for 2025! A brand new private pool will be installed just in time for the 2025 spring pool season. Recently remodeled and impeccably decorated, Aurora is the hidden gem of Duck that you've been searching for. The home's proximity to downtown makes it the premier choice for vacationers who want to walk or bike to shopping, dining and attractions. Getting to the beach will be just as effortless using the neighborhood beach access at the east end of Christopher Drive.
After a day at the beach or exploring town, come home and relax in the open-concept living area with vaulted ceilings and skylights that create a bright and airy vibe with abundant natural light. This fabulous combination living/dining space leads out to an expansive wrap-around deck where you lounge in the sun for your daily dose of Vitamin D. Back inside, get dinner started in the brand new kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Gorgeous LVP flooring flows throughout the entire home, including the bedrooms. The main level queen suite features an updated semi-private bath, and two more bedrooms upstairs share a Jack-and-Jill bath. First the good things: The property has been recently renovated, and is nicely decorated. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, glasses, dinnerware, etc. Not so good things: There is nothing extra at all—no spices, oil, anything. Be sure to bring dishwasher soap/pods, as well as laundry detergent. The place does not have a pool, despite what it says in the listing, although it seems that one is being planned for the spring. And the place is small…really small, or cozy, depending on your point of view. If you use a hair dryer, bring your own, since there is not one at this property. However, if you do like to iron clothes when you’re at the beach, this place has you covered. There are two irons and two ironing boards available.
