About this house rental
This country home offers all main level living, with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an attached 1 car garage. The living room has multiple seating options for you to relax and soak in the views from the three large picture windows framing the rolling fields that surround the home. The kitchen is well stocked and prepared for all the home cooked meals and fixin’s you’d want to make. All Three bedrooms have Queen Sized beds along with dressers and hangers in the closets for the longer stays. Bathroom has a tiled Shower/tub combo with modern fixtures. Washer and Dryer are located behind the barn doors in the office/sitting area with a great view of the Century Old McKendree Cemetery.
You will have access to the attached one car garage during your stay. You will not have access to the basement at any time, however you can use the gravel drive to park around back.

Very nice property in a very nice location. Overall a nice place to stay.
Pros: 1) House by itself on a large piece of land 2) Very quiet and peaceful 3)House is large with plenty of room 4) Nicely remodeled with very nice furnishings 5) The one bed we slept on was very comfortable 6) Amazing view of the sun coming up over the hill in the mornings
Cons: 1) Although newly remodeled, it's still a very old house and the old house smell is crazy strong. I mean VERY strong 2) The smart thermostat they use increases the temperature of the house when you're not there no matter what you set it to. It has a sensor that knows if you're home or not so it doesn't run the AC during the day while you're gone no matter what it is set on. So, day 1 it was 80 degrees when we got in at midnight. It was 78 degrees still when we laid down at 1:30am (and it was only 77 degrees outside at this time). Day 2, it was 76 when we got back to the house. And it takes so very long for the house to cool down. The thermostat needs to be reprogrammed to maintain the temperature that the tenant sets it to as it only lowers the temp about 1 degree per hour (at night, without the sun shining).
