This house was the perfect getaway destination for someone who was just looking for a rest from busy life. Walking out the back door onto the beach, feeling the breeze, and listening to the waves was beyond peaceful. The house was beautiful and had everything we were looking for. Jennie was super responsive to messages and was a great host! I hope to stay again next time I'm in Alpena!

Amazing house on the shore of Lake Huron. Very comfortable. There were many items provided (beach towels, sun tan lotion, snacks, water in bottles). Great deck to look out at the water. Amazing sunrise.

This was the perfect place to stay at for our family vacation. The location was great, the house was clean, and there were extra little amenities in the house that added a nice touch. The downtown was either a quick couple minute drive or a nice 15ish minute walk by the water. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay!

We had a great stay. The house was cozy and the location is wonderful. Direct access to the lake. The kid had a blast swimming in the lake. There were plenty of complimentary snacks. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The only shortcoming is everyone needed to share one shower, so it takes a bit of coordination if need to get out early in the morning.
