Our family trip included ages 8-70 we loved being close to all the attractions in town and took advantage of many! The house was perfect in every way-spacious enough for our group of 8 with a great kitchen to cook up our own seafood dinners. Bonus...just around the corner from my Mom's family home on K and 18th! We got to spend time on the beach as well as enjoy the pool in the back yard.We will definitely return again!

My family and I traveled to Galveston for a four day vacation to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. From start to finish, Car (host) was great! The communication was spot on and Car was quick to answer any questions we had. The property is beautiful and in such a great location to explore Galveston. We especially enjoyed the heated pool since we were there in February. If I ever visit Galveston again, there is no doubt I will book this property again!

Everything about this property was top notch. We stayed here because of the close proximity to attractions we were there to see. We were there to ride the Polar Express, shopping on The Strand, and Seafood. The house was beautiful, clean, had plenty room for our family gift exchange, and was well equipped with everything we needed. First things first- property is more on the 18th block of Broadway than the 17th block. And only small cars with a good turning radius would be good for the back parking lot. Street parking is fine.Next: the house is gorgeous! Old school antique house with great architectural details and high ceilings. Ample places to sit outside as well. Pool is very inviting even though we didn’t swim. Cold front and rain were happening. You can walk to the Strand if you wish. Great master bathroom, comfortable beds and huge closets.We were very impressed and would stay there again!

This was such a beautiful home. The owners did an amazing job of integrating modern amenities into a very classic Galveston home. Truly beautiful. This was also the best equipped VRBO we ever stayed in. Not just the typical items you grow to expect. This was the cleanest, beautifully decorated and had everything and more than we needed for our stay. The property was perfect for everyone and plenty of space, the beds were incredible, towels for the beach and for the pool , the pool was perfect for the grandkids and just relaxing and naps in the chair outside. Our stay at My Blue Heaven in Galveston was absolutely fantastic. The house, built in 1910, is full of historic charm and beautifully updated with modern amenities. The location is perfect, just a few homes down from the Bishop’s Palace and within walking distance to the beach and downtown. The home was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the private heated pool and the spacious, well-maintained backyard. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the smart TVs and Sonos sound system added a great touch. The hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming, ensuring we had a great experience. We loved our stay so much that we’re considering making it an annual family tradition. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to explore Galveston in style and comfort.

We booked the house for a quick girls getaway and we could not have found a better place! This historic home is immaculately decorated not just for looks, but for comfort. There is nothing missing from the kitchen, baths and pool, everything is available to make your stay comfy. We would book again!

We were at the house for 3 weeks in March. There's plenty of common areas room, nice size bedrooms, ery comfortable beds, a nice, large dining area, and a great location. The home is probably the best-stocked VRBO we've stayed at. Plenty of towels and sheets as well as a very well stocked kitchen--knives, pans, dishes, small appliances, etc. Also, these were all of a high quality, which isn't always the case. We really appreciated that the pool was heated at no additional cost. We had a couple small issues with this during the three weeks--and the owner was VERY responsive. It never became a problem. Be aware, the pool is on the small side, but was fine for our families with small kids. Also, the home is on a busy street with the noise that would accompany that. The owners provided noise machines in the bedrooms which was a great idea and appreciated. Very quickly got used to the situation.

This 100 year old historic Galveston home is beautifully restored with all the modern amenities you can want. The list of amenities in the description is extensive and accurate. Also, owner generously supplies consumables like dishwasher detergent and toilet paper as well as beach and pool towels. Recharging stations throughout the house. Pool area, deck and fences in yard was so welcoming and secure. House is located on Broadway, a very busy street, but the owners even thought of that by providing noise machines and fans in the bedrooms to dampen the street noise. Lastly, the bikes are a nice touch to allow for quick exploration of the area.

Our overall stay was amazing. The house was perfect for our girls getaway and allowed enough space for us. Everything from the checkin process to checkout processes was smooth. We did encounter one issue with the pool. It was not heating. This was the main reason we booked this house but I will say communication with the property manager was on point. They answered every question, attempted troubleshooting on their own and when that did not work, they called out an after hours pool company to try and fix the problem. They were not able to fix the issue but the communication with the property manager and the willingness to do whatever they could, made this all ok! We will definitely be back! You wont regret your stay here

The Blue Haven is an excellent house that is located in the center of Galveston. The modern comforts with the luxurious historical and antic touches made the house an excellent choice. Wow! This place exceeded our expectations. The location was convenient for everything we wanted to do (beach, pleasure pier, Moody Gardens, and Bryan Museum). We had teens and young adult children with us. The house was perfect. I was amazed at how well-equipped the house was. Especially the kitchen. It had everything we needed, which was perfect since our large family loves to cook and eat. The games and many TVs were incredible too. The pool and outdoor area were fantastic for relaxing evenings. We will definitely be back.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Our host was very accommodating, communicative, and informative. The home is immaculate. The location is convenient to everything – the beach, strand, pleasure pier, restaurants, you name it. We loved reading about the history of this home built back in 1912 and marveled at the fact that even after the renovations needed to bring it up to 21st-century standards, the original glory of this magnificent home is still evident throughout. The owners definitely left no detail untouched, anywhere. It would be difficult to say which part of the home we liked best, but if we had to, it would probably be a tossup between the beautiful master suite and the wonderful relaxing pool area. If you enjoy cooking, this kitchen is for you. It is supplied with everything you could possibly need to prepare a feast. The two large living areas are comfortable and like the rest of the home, tastefully decorated. We couldn’t find one thing we didn’t love about My Blue Heaven and we will definitely be back.

This property is very well maintained. Everything was clean and in working order in the home. Beach towels, chairs and coolers are provided, as well as 2 bikes (both had flat tires). Parking is very tight, as only one vehicle is allowed to be parked in the back parking area. The dental office across 18th St. takes all the on street parking so more than one vehicle is a problem according to the rules. We enjoyed the pool, but being the end of August, the heat made it more like a hot tub. The location is fantastic! It is centrally located on Broadway and easy to access the Strand or the beach. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.
