Las Mañanitas - Wonderful Oceanfront Villa and Beachfront Property!

Amazing stay at “Las Mañanitas”. Simply beautiful and very relaxing. Ferry ride is just about 2 minutes away. Doña Nydia and Carlos were great host! Both very respectful and friendly & they were available at any time needed. Oh my....she makes delicious tortillas & we all loved having her around to chat while cooking! We loved the design of the house! Kitchen had everything we needed. We took our groceries for the entire stay & cooked all our meals. The air conditioned rooms were very confortable. The bedrooms all had bathrooms which made it a lot easier with our group. The beds are very comfortable and they provide linens and towels. The pool was so refreshing and Carlos keeps it very clean! And if you want to go to the very peaceful beach simply follow the trail and enjoy a short walk while enjoying the view...beautiful landscape, monkeys, parrots, iguanas, birds, horses, cows! It felt as if we had a lil’ piece of our own paradise! Truly hope we can go back soon! Thank you Marijose!

Large Property that is close to ferry, but not so close to attractions. House is large and and has three separate bedrooms with adjoining bath rooms, but all were dated and could use an upgrade. The Host was very responsive and helpful and the onsite caretaker (Nidia) was great, even though we needed a translator app to communicate (she does cook a good breakfast, but this is negotiated separately). The photos do not show the kitchen, since there really isn't one for full time use. It is an industrial sized kitchen located between the rental unit and the caretakers place, which is locked at night and we did not have a key, so having a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise did not happen as planned. Also, we were looking for a place that was private and this place is NOT it, since the caretaker's residents is next door (almost attached) and directly overlooking to the pool, there was no privacy outside. We also did not get direct access for the gate, so we had to rely on the caretaker to let us in and out, or message the host for assistance, which was quickly addressed. The gate key to access the beach is not provided, so you will need to request this from the caretaker. The property does have a group of monkeys and other wildlife that can be seen, but not as much as other locations. The property is almost like a small ranch with horses, cows, chickens, etc. on the property, along with a dog kennel that was located behind the bedrooms with occasional barking. This property would be good for a large event, but was not ideal for a private family get away that we were expecting.
