About this house rental

RARE LISTING! This beautiful home is a must see on Lake Erie! Resting atop a 60' cliff above the Great Lake, visitors will love the epic views from every room.

The home has a lovely front porch with keypad entry. The sparkling kitchen has all major appliances, filtered water and ice in fridge, coffee maker and toaster for your convenience. Full bath, living room and dining room all on main floor. Enjoy the 65" smart tv and over-sized games! The second story has 3 bedrooms and a handsome full bathroom. Soft bedding, towels, soaps and paper products are provided for our guests.

Located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood in Erie, PA. There is a public pavilion and beach- full of beach glass- a brisk walk away, at the corner of Lakeside and Chautauqua Blvd. WITH CAUTION: This property sits 60’ above Lake Erie. While it makes for incredible views, visitors must be aware that there is no fence or railing along the bluff. Children should not be left unattended in back yard.

MAX GUESTS: This home is equipped to serve 6 guests comfortably. Parking for 2 vehicles at the house.

HOUSE RULES: Please count all visitors at time of booking. Guest must reserve with accurate count of people in their group. NO additional visitors permitted on property- whether staying or not. Hosts and staff live nearby.

Please respect the neighborhood and practice quiet time beginning at 10 pm. No smoking, vaping, pets or illegal activity - $500 fee.

This Lake Erie property is special. Charming home. Clean, bright, lake views from all rooms. We settled in very comfortably. On a neighborhood walk our first afternoon, we walked past our host’s (Janelle) home, where she waved us over to make sure everything was to our liking. She even supplied us with a golf cart for scooting around the neighborhood. Very welcoming and accommodating hosts. The lake view was fabulous. We took advantage of the fire pit and Adirondack chairs; awesome setting for pre dinner cocktails. Lots of rainy weather during our trip, but boy did we see awesome skies, crazy lightening and even a double rainbow over the lake! This home is a great value.

The property is impeccable. It's so clean and comfy with amazing views of the lake. The hosts attention to detail is remarkable right down to the candy gift that was left with a cheerful welcome note on the kitchen table. It is definitely a property that I will be visiting again.

Everything about our stay at Dreamy Lake House exceeded our expectations. The house was so cozy and well stocked with amenities - exceptionally CLEAN with modern updates. The backyard was our very own oasis-very private with million dollar view of the gorgeous sunsets over the lake. We took grandbabies to Zoo and Presque Isle beaches, but quite honestly everyone enjoyed the back yard so much we would have been fine to spend all our days right here. Thank you to the owner for your hospitality, your attention to all the added details and your quick responses to our messages to make our family stay one of our best getaways yet! We are looking forward to visiting again!

Beautifully decorated pristine home situated on the Lake Erie shore. Had a wonderful getaway with a few friends. The backyard was the perfect spot to enjoy the sunsets and the view from everywhere in the house was fabulous. The host was available to answer any question that arose. Looking forward to spending another holiday with our hosts at their other properties.

Just came home from our girl's trip stay, and am missing the view and this house already. The house was so comfortable, and had everything we needed. We even asked if there was a blender available, and a brand new one was one the counter when we arrived. The host was more than accomodating and quick to answer. She even delivered more wood when she was ready to leave for a family party. The house was extremely clean, and the sunsets were amazing. We had stayed at their other party "This Place Rocks" in March, and we were equally impressed with this property. We may have to visit them all because we loved the first two so much. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone. Loved it!

Excellent stay and the hospitality of the hosts is phenomenal! Super clean and comfortable, dishwasher and washer and dryer work perfectly and are a nice addition when on vacation especially sitting outside every morning looking at the lake and drinking coffee never gets old. Highly recommend staying here, we’re already looking forward to next year!

The house is clean and homey. The view is beautiful. We ventured out a few times (close to area attractions), but we would’ve been perfectly content staying at the house and relaxing with the breathtaking views. I would definitely stay again! It was a perfect trip. The host was also very kind and responsive.

The home was spotlessly cleaned. If the downside of travel for you is feeling like no other home meets your standard of clean, this is the home for you. Deep cleaning is definitely done. They thought of everything from a welcome note, to having towel hooks in all rooms, and all those windows were clean so you could see that beautiful view. the entry way mud room area is great to prep to leave and to corral kids on the way out to activities. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling as a couple or with a family. Close to Waldameer for fun (which was also very clean and had decent food).

We appreciated the many thoughtful extra amenities placed throughout. It was a welcome respite for a few nights during our summer road trip. Wished we could have stayed longer!

My siblings and a couple friends stayed here for my older brothers Bachelor party! Immaculate space set in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. It was super easy to jump over to the fishing charter early in the morning. Highly recommend.

Our hosts were amazing. We ran in to a small snag with the tv, hunting for local stations, one quick text and within 10 minutes they were at the door to help. The home is beautiful, the views are breathtaking and coffee bar was stocked. The hosts have provided games to play, books to read and binoculars to use to look at the lake. My favorite besides EVERYTHING was the towel warmer. The beds are comfy, having a recliner in the middle bedroom was thoughtful. Make sure when in town you visit The Plymouth. Great food and fantastic cheesecake. Thanks girls your home is soooo welcoming!!!

The Dreamy Lake House in Erie was magnificent! The views are like no other! Every room, upstairs and down showcases the beautiful scenery, day & night. The house was wonderful; incredibly clean and completely stocked! We are frequent renters from platforms like this and pack pretty well knowing houses don’t have it all - but the Erie house truly does! We were appreciative of the small details! The neighborhood was lovely with a quick walk to a small park & beach. If I could give more than 5 stars I would - truly a wonderful experience!

My friends and I spent the weekend to celebrate a birthday. It was such an amazing home and the views were phenomenal. We were greeted with a lovely note and some local chocolate. Such a personal note. We wished we had a few more days to stay! Will definitely be coming back!

We stayed here for 3 nights while in Erie for a gymnastics competition. The house really is dreamy- we arrived at night, so we did not get to enjoy the amazing view until we woke up the next morning… and it did not disappoint!! Wow!! So peaceful… gorgeous views from every room (even beautiful in the rain!) and a nice bench to sit at outside while overlooking the water. Bird houses bring birds and squirrels and raccoons… which was so fun to watch from the enormous picture windows. The house is super clean and has everything you need… including a fully-stocked kitchen, updated decor, a large dining table for meals and games, black-out drapes in the bedrooms and super-comfy beds. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (with 2 showers and a towel warmer!). Downstairs full bathroom has another shower (but water-pressure is low so only suggest for kids or quick-showers). House is in a residential location but not far from area sites and activities. If we find ourselves in Erie again, we can’t wait to stay at Dreamy Lake House again.

From the neat and clean exterior, the cute and cozy interior, and the breathtaking views of the lake this home is a definite must if you want to spend some time at Lake Erie. The attention to detail by the homeowner was unbelievable from the lovely Welcome gift of delicious chocolate to the towel warmer in the Master bath. The hospitality was impeccable and was only outshined by the beautiful views of the lake.

Everyone talks about the beautiful views, and yes they are AMAZING! Relaxing getaway, but the attention to detail was incredible. Janelle was extremely quick to respond to any question I had, literally within minutes. I’m would consider myself a “clean freak” so when I tell you this place is a 10/10, WOW was all I could say, what I appreciated was the amount of seating in the living room, 3 chairs and nice comfortable couch, it actually had plenty of room to relax, indoor or outdoor and enjoy the spectacular views! Thank you Janelle for sharing your beautiful home, didn’t want to leave, wanted to keep pretending this was how I spend my days!!!❤️❤️❤️would most definitely stay again! The view of the lake was magnificent. The property was clean and tidy. Perfect nights grilling on the propane grill and making a bonfire. Nice large driveway that fits two SUV’s. Enjoyed visiting the beach and Sara’s for ice cream

The main draw of the home were the spectacular views of the lake, and it did not disappoint. Amazing sunsets every evening. Home was clean and well appointed. Our family had a relaxing, fun time together. We visited the children’s museum, Tom Ridge Environmental Center, Presque Isle, Waldameer and even the cat cafe in town. We felt we got the best the area had to offer, including staying at the Dreamy Lake House!
