The Host Greg was very accommodating.. He was there upon our arrival. The snow was very deep. He used his own large utility snowmobile to compact a trail across the lake and through the beautiful property to make sure that we had direct access to trail 5. He had a nice spot cleared out to accommodate 4 snowmobile trailers. The home was exactly as stated on the Vrbo site. It's beautiful and accommodated our group of eight easily. He went out of his way to help one of our travelers that had got his snowmobile stuck on Lake while ice fishing. It's a winter wonderland. Spring,Summer, fall or winter this place would be a great experience.

I liked this place. I could tell the builder was in love with the amazing location and the cabin is very beautiful. The lake is stunning and the fishing is good. I think I was just a little disillusioned because for the price and description I expected it to be private...the 640 acres of nobody else around. I was a little unprepared for the owners house to be right down the road and visible from the lake and dock of the cabin. The description talks about the miles of trails to explore, but we were informed that they had not been maintained in a while and it was obvious. The whole property is very overgrown and the maintenance is not as it looks in the pictures. I was looking forward to hiking and exploring. There is a pontoon boat which we paid to use, but it was not in good shape, the anchor does not keep the boat from drifting, and the small motor does everything in reverse and is not powerful enough to get you across the lake if there is any wind at all. Like I said, for the price, I expected it to be clean. There were dirty dishes and cracked glasses in the cabinet and dead bugs in the light fixtures. No pot holders and only half a roll of paper towels for a 5 day stay. If it were advertised as a bare bones experience I would have come better prepared. That said, we managed to enjoy our stay. The architecture of the cabin is amazing, the bed was comfortable, the view is amazing, and the lake is stunning.
