About this house rental
Pier Cottage is located in Kinlochbervie, a fishing village in the stunning north west highlands of Scotland.
Situated on the edge of the village less than two minutes walk from the shores of Loch Clash, a sea loch with a small pebble and sand beach. The cottage is set in a mature private garden with private parking for up to three cars
Pier Cottage has a large open plan sitting room with dining area that comfortably seats six. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. There are three spacious bedrooms ( two double and one twin), the master bedroom is en-suite. We can provide travel cot and a high chair if required.
Kitchen has fridge freezer, electric hob and oven and dishwasher. Washer and dryer are in the porch/utility
The cottage has recently been totally refurbished to a high standard and has oil fired central heating
Kinlochbervie is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful north west, boasting stunning scenery with mountains and unspoilt beaches galore
Close to well stocked village shop
Fresh local seafood is available, my husband being a prawn and lobster fisherman, it’s literally from boat to kitchen
Well behaved dogs are welcome, but we would ask that they be restricted to the living areas and not allowed on the furniture. Kinlochbervie is a crofting area with sheep and cattle, so dogs do need to be on a lead if not used to livestock
The cottage has a non smoking policy
Enjoy walking, swimming in the sea, cycling, admiring the abundant natural beauty of the area or simply chilling in comfort

A very clean and well presented homely property in the centre of this working fishing settlement . It is spacious and has everything you might need, if you haven’t the Spar shop is just across the road. Lovely Oldshawmore Beach, one of several in the area, is only a ten minute drive away and Kinlochbervie is well placed for exploring mountains inland, the dunes and enormous beach near Durness, points of interest like Smoo Caves or taking a ferry ride from Tarbet to Handa Island.

We loved our stay at Pier Cottage - very comfortable and very clean. The hosts Mairi and Willie are extremely welcoming and friendly. We had fresh fish caught by Willie - langoustines, crab, lobster and monkfish - all delicious and a highlight of our trip. There is lots to do in and around Kinlochbervie and just opposite the cottage is a very well stocked Spar shop. We highly recommend a stay at Pier Cottage.

Immaculate cosy cottage with all you would expect in a home from home. Nearby shop, beach and cafe and great location.Mairi was so helpful, a wonderful host.I'd definitely recommend Pier Cottage and i know i will return.
