Welcome to Between Two Sands, a place that's a little unexpected for York Beach.
Tucked away on a quiet private road off another quiet private road, our home feels more like a mountain retreat than a beach house. Surrounded by trees and nature, you'll enjoy a peaceful setting where you can relax on the screened porch, gather around the fire pit, and listen to the sounds of summer evenings.
Yet despite the privacy, you're just a short walk from everything.

0.6 miles to Short Sands Beach, restaurants, shops, arcade, and summer events

The Home
Designed for families and groups, this bright and welcoming 4-bedroom home comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests.
The main floor features a comfortable living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen that opens to the heart of the home, making it easy for everyone to stay connected whether they're preparing meals, playing games, or relaxing after a day at the beach.
The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, and everyday essentials, and includes a large sink and garbage disposal to make cleanup easy.
A first-floor queen bedroom and full bathroom offer convenience for guests who prefer fewer stairs.
Upstairs you'll find three additional bedrooms and a half bath, providing plenty of space for families and multi-generational groups.

After a day at Long Sands Beach, rinse off in the hot/cold outdoor shower and spend the evening relaxing outdoors. Enjoy dinner on the screened porch, challenge the family to lawn games, roast marshmallows around the fire pit, or simply sit back and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The large yard provides plenty of room for kids to play while adults unwind nearby.

Had a perfect vacation staying in the VRBO. The home ia located in a great spot and is nice & roomy with 4 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. It easily accomodated a family of 6. The kids had a blast with the toys available in the outdoor shed. Short Sands beach and the town of Short Sands was an easy walk from the home. We hope to return soon!

As in the past everything was perfect! The owners thought of everything. It was very clean and it felt like home. We couldn’t get a better location. You park the car for the week and can walk everywhere from the house. My family loves your home.The screened porch and the outdoor shower are our favorite places at the house. I hope we can continue to return each year!
