Summer Place | Oceanfront Covered Porch!

Nice house with beautiful beach views. Covered porch is great for enjoying the beautiful views and just relaxing. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Location is great. Beach is not crowded and restaurants and the pier are less than a mile away. Southport ferry and Fort Fisher are also very close.

It was very clean, great space for our small family. Pet friendly! The view is amazing!

Great communication, clean house and amazing views

Location is great, however; there were many issues associated with the house. Some of these issues include a portion of the walkway to the beach that is in desperate need of repair. Nail heads sticking out of the boards, (which I raked my foot on one) and walkway posts with rusted screws sticking out of the top. In the house, the main bathroom tub does not drain. We called the management company, which was very helpful and came out and took many pictures, and they fixed it once. However, the issues resurfaced a day later. Some of the blinds were missing slats, there was a "repaired" hole in one of the walls in the master bedroom, none of the ceiling fan remotes worked properly or at all, mold or accumulated dust visible on the ceilings vents, towel bar in the master bathroom about to fall off, we had to have the light above the stove replaced, and numerous areas where the walls need repair due to apparent water issues. These issues may sound petty, however; when one pays a significant amount more for this house than one rented last year (one block down and one block off the beach which was awesome), the extra price you pay for for house with many defects, some health related, is not worth it. Lastly, the table in the living area is huge. Very cumbersome.
