Luxury 1 bedroom apartment with balcony overlooking the caribbean ocean

The property has 24 hour concierge and security. The overall feeling for the building is secure. The apartment is on floor #20 of 42 floors. The front desk only speaks Spanish. The property has two pools, one at ground level, and one on the rooftop. There are 3 elevators that are fast and efficient as this appears to be mostly a seasonal residential property. The property is as advertised with an amazing sunset facing view of the sea and the nearby island. At night, even with the windows closed, you can hear the waves crashing on to the beach. The property is in a very safe area of El Laguito Cartagena with 3 amazing beaches within a 5-10 minute walk. The 2 walk-in shower bathrooms are amazing. Has an "on-demand" hot water heater. Has a functional washer and dryer. Good size refrigerator and 4-burner gas stove. The dining room table sits near the full view ocean view window. You can have your morning coffee and meals there and listen to the waves. The master bedroom is quite nice with an attached balcony with seating and table. The sofa bed is adequate for one adult or two smaller children. The deadbolt lock on the entry door requires the turn of the key to enter and the turn of the key to leave. No chance of locking your key inside. Challenges included a broken entry door handle and neither TV worked for us. Instead we used You Tube TV and Amazon Echo Dot for entertainment. Wi-Fi worked fine. In conclusion, would definitely stay at this property again.

Clean, comfortable, quiet and worth the price. Washer and dryer a little old but came in clutch. Recommend and will stay again. Thank you for the pleasure.

Everything is as advertised

On the first day the door wouldn't lock and there was no hot water. a fellow named Eduardo came to fix both, had to get licensed gas plumber to fix the water heater.. took three days to have hot water. I had to message Claudia over twenty time in the three weeks I was there to get anything done, and she messed up even the simplest request. Eduardo the handyman seemed to be the best oto get anything done. He also rents apartments in the same building, better rates and he has an office right out front so you can talk with him whenever you need to, he also runs an exchange shop so again, easy to find and responds quickly. Mario and Maria are two more that rent apartments in Sunset that are also located at the front of the building and available when you need them. I would never rent from Claudia again
