Augusta Cottage is a delightful Cotswold cottage situated in the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water, which sleeps four guests (no children aged eleven or under permitted), in two bedrooms, with a ground floor shower room and two ensuites. This beautiful home from home, with its spacious living area, well-equipped kitchen and colourful interiors, is a fabulous abode to relax in and spend quality time with loved ones. The outside courtyard is a sun trap in the summer months, making it the perfect place for an alfresco brunch!

This is my second visit to August Cottage and it is exceptional inside. It is beautifully laid out and very comfortable. The owners are very accommodating.

We were welcomed early to the accommodation even though it was not quite ready in order to access the fridge and leave our cars whilst we did some early exploration. The location is fantastic on the high street in Boughton on the Water which is typically picturesque. We also enjoyed the surrounding area without using the car by having a leisurely stroll to the Hawkstone brewery. I would recommend this property for the location and convenience.

This spacious, charmingly decorated cottage is the perfect place to relax. It comes with all the amenities you'll need for a comfortable stay. The owners live right next door and are available to help with anything you may need.

This ideally located cottage is very well thought out, with everything you could need for a weeks stay. The owners who run the B'n'B next door are the friendliest of hosts and always very welcoming. The cottage is only a 3 minute walk to the main high street, where the River Windrush is located, and you would think you therefore might here allot of noise in the evening/night - however this really doesn't carry so you get the benefit of being so close to the main street but also the peace and serenity of the Cotswolds. I couldn't think of a more perfect location and indeed cottage to stay in. The only thing that would be a welcome addition would be an EV charger, which I would happily pay to use.

The lovely cottage was in an ideal location for walking without moving the 2 cars all week., we loved it. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We met Joe who was very welcoming. We really enjoyed discovering Bourton-on-the-Water and the surrounding area. A more spacious freezer would have been appreciated, due to dietary needs we tend to eat in more.

Sheen and Joe met us upon our arrival and were very pleasant and welcoming. They made themselves available to us if we needed them. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and perfect. I would recommend it and would stay there again in a heart beat.

This property is just a short walk from the centre of Bourton on the Water with its many eating places and attractions. The rest of the beautiful Cotswolds is only a short drive away.

Beautiful home so close to everything but so quiet, we mainly used the buses to get out and about which stop very close to the cottage. Would recommend as a good option. Not far from many attractive spots. Bourton very busy at the weekend - book for your meals so you won’t be disappointed. The cottage has lovely big rooms. Plenty of space for all. Bonus was en-suites to both bedrooms and extra bathroom downstairs. Suggestion - empty cupboard for food storage in kitchen. Otherwise perfect!

Absolutely amazing location, easy to get back to for small breaks with a nice private parking spot right in front. Really clean and cosy cottage, comfy furniture and beds. Shower is a bit dribbly but otherwise spacious and heats up fast. Would defo stay again.

Easiest review we`ve ever done in 25 years of hiring cottages. There is nothing negative to say about this lovely cottage in a prime position in the ever popular Bourton on the Water. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. 2 very large family bedrooms both en suite sleeping up to six. House was very nicely heated and furnished . There were good spacious showers and plenty of hot water. The lounge tv and wi-fi worked well. The large kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we could have needed during our stay. The cottage is located off the main road with private parking and is but a hundred yards from the very hub of the village with all its amenities restaurants and pubs. Reassuringly, in the unlikely event of a problem the owners live at the adjacent property. Overall we had an excellent, quiet, and extremely comfortable mid week break and without a doubt will be returning next year.

Fabulous cottage so cosy and welcoming and it had been decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch. The location is brilliant with a 1 minute walk to the shops , bars and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed will definitely be back. There is a Bed n Breakfast next door which is the same owners but you wouldn't know as the cottage is private. All round lovely visit to a beautiful part of the country.

We really enjoyed our long weekend in Manor Close Cottage. Well located just off the high street, it was quiet and spacious, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were very helpful and the added bonus of parking was great. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

The property is beautifully furnished with extensive bathroom facilities. It's perfectly positioned near to the centre of Bourton on the Water. A perfect central for our walking holiday. Shower pressures were rather low.

Not sure were to start, the cottage was amazing, it was immaculate, had everything we needed was well equipped, comfortable, and lovely welcome from owner on first day. Location was perfect, a very short stroll to the centre where you will find boutique shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Would highly recommend and booking of the cottage was easy too. Wish all self catering accommodation was to this high standard, no one will be disappointed. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The cottage was spacious with everything we could possibly need. Opposite a lovely old church with quaint clock chimes. Easy, short walk to very pretty village centre with food shop, plenty of places to eat and a few visitor attractions. Lovely owners too. Would love to return one day.

We had a really lovely stay in this cottage. There was plenty of space for both of us, and all of the house was super clean and had everything we needed. Arrival was super easy as I arrived quite late, but the key was easy to find and it was great to have designated parking. All the information I could've ever needed was in the visitor book.

We were very impressed by Manor Close Cottage. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The owners were lovely, very pleasant and friendly. Everything provided was to a high standard, washing machine, dishwasher, crockery, cutlery, towels and bedding. The location was great. Set in the grounds of a lovely garden and very near the centre of Bourton on the Water, which was a pleasure to stroll around - especially in the evening when the crowds had gone.
