About this lodge
I am an admirer of Ojibwa beadwork and used pictures of some beautiful examples. Wild rice was abundant here and was harvested every fall. Rice Lake was part of the Bayfield Trail trade route for pipestone, wild rice and copper.
In the summer, relax on our private swimming area or take one of the complimentary paddle boats, canoes, kayaks or row boat for fun on the lake. Pontoons available to rent.

It was just myself, boyfriend and our dog for a mini get away since the grandparents took the kiddos. The staff was very helpful when/if we needed anything.
